The fennel in the blend gets even stronger the longer it simmers. I reccomend you might want to stick to that "less is more". It transformed basic canned tomato sauce into a rich, savory topping for my beef and spaghetti. Since it's so potent, half a tablespoon was plenty for two cans of sauce. It's a natural fit for sausage-based dishes or pizza, and I can't wait to try it in my next lasagna and sea shell pasta casserole. Thank You Influenster

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was just about to mix up some meatballs when my son brought in the mail that included a complimentary jar of Spice House Old World Italian Rustic Fennel and Herb Seasoning shared by Influenster free in exchange for my honest review. Upon smelling the seasoning, I knew it was going into my meatballs because the aroma was so savory and would pair perfectly with my dish. I scrapped my standard meatball seasoning that is a combo of 5 different spices and replaced it with 2T of this seasoning blend per lb of meat. Wowzers! It was fantastic. We liked the flavor so much we added it to our jarred marinara, too. I can definitely see myself reaching for this blend often as a home cook that loves Italian. I think it would be dynamite in Lasagna.

It has a bold, savory flavor, not too salty, and it's just a little spicy. Not spicy in a hot way, but a peppery flavor. It works really well with roasted potatoes. It's definitely more of an ‘adult' flavor… my kids weren't fans, but I'll keep using it for my own meals.

I used this blend on steak and I was actually surprised by how good the flavor was. It has a decent amount of salt and the flavor had many different dimensions. I mainly tasted the fennel seeds and oregano while the other ingredients helped add more depth to the steak. I'm looking forward to using this with spaghetti and meatballs in the future.

The consistency of all the spices mixed together is perfect. Put it in my pasta sauce and it gave it that extra cake that I was missing. It even has suggestion instructions on the side of the container, but you can use it anywhere you want. I would recommend it to my friends and family.
