[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Old Rustic Italian seasoning is very good! It was packaged nicely and has good size holes for sprinkling out of the top onto food. The flavor is not to overpowering and provides a nice Italian taste to dishes. I have tried in multiple dishes and it hasn’t disappointed. The fennel hasn’t been too overpowering which is what I was concerned about but we think it tastes great.

Definitely want to try getting pork as suggested on the bottle to try making homemade sausage. Great flavor and the typical Italian zip you crave. The size of the bottle it ideal as it will last for several meals.

We just mixed a few tablespooons with the sauce and oooohhh, did it zing my tastebuds! It's very fragrant and vibrant. It adds a little something extra to every meal.

Nobody does it better than Spice House. The seasoning looks fresh the smell is robust and lively. I used it to make some homemade Italian sausage for pizza. I feel like the flavor was full and savory. I didn't find it particularly spicy. The fennel came through nicely. I would buy again and I'd always recommend Spice House for fresh spices or a classy gift. My first use was for some bbq ribs as a dry rub. First thing I notice is that it had a pleasant smell, but the aroma coming from the oven was just heavenly!! I don't put bbq sauce on my ribs until the last 15 minutes, so the smell was from the seasoning alone. These turned out to be the best tasting ribs I've had in a really long time!! I highly recommend this brand.

The spice is in a nice large jar, the back of the jar gives idea of how to use it. Lots of good ideas and will definitely be trying the others. My entire family loved the sauce with this spice added in. My husband has ulcerative colitis and this did not upset his stomach at all. I really enjoyed the sweetness with a hint of fennel. It has a great blend that balances so nicely. It does have cayenne pepper but it is not noticeable. There is nothing too spicy about this product, which was perfect for my family!
