[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Old Rustic Italian seasoning is very good! It was packaged nicely and has good size holes for sprinkling out of the top onto food. The flavor is not to overpowering and provides a nice Italian taste to dishes. I have tried in multiple dishes and it hasn’t disappointed. The fennel hasn’t been too overpowering which is what I was concerned about but we think it tastes great.

While this blend of spices was not my favorite, it was nice to be able to Mae my normal rotation of dishes and have a different taste added in. I really like the packaging in that it is see through and very easy to read and understand. So may spice and seasoning packaging has tiny letters that are difficult to see.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not much of a cook in terms of figuring out what flavor profile is missing from a dish so I rely on pre-made seasoning blends to help make my food taste better. I used this blend on steak and I was actually surprised by how good the flavor was. It has a decent amount of salt and the flavor had many different dimensions. I mainly tasted the fennel seeds and oregano while the other ingredients helped add more depth to the steak. I'm looking forward to using this with spaghetti and meatballs in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved Old World Italian Rustic Fennel & Herb Seasoning by The Spice House and was immediately impressed!! My first use was for some bbq ribs as a dry rub. First thing I notice is that it had a pleasant smell, but the aroma coming from the oven was just heavenly!! I don't put bbq sauce on my ribs until the last 15 minutes, so the smell was from the seasoning alone. These turned out to be the best tasting ribs I've had in a really long time!! I highly recommend this brand.

The cracked fennel gives it a slightly sweet flavor that really stands out, but it's not overpowering at all, just enough to make the dish taste better. I liked the quantity of the amount in the container and how well this seasoning made my food taste when broiling or sautéing my food. The product didn't stick or burn to the pan when cooking with it. The texture of the seasoning is fine with several herbs in it. When cooking with the seasoning it melts into the dish you are preparing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this seasoning! It has a bit of heat but is balanced by oregano, fennel, garlic and other spices. It's really a well crafted blend. I've made several dinners with it (pizza, pork chops that I served over chard seasoned with lemon, garlic, olive oil and Old world Italian), as well as adding some to a vinaigrette that I used in an Italian sandwich. It would be also excellent in meatballs. I love to cook, so I'm excited to try this Spice House blend!
