[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this seasoning! It has a bit of heat but is balanced by oregano, fennel, garlic and other spices. It's really a well crafted blend. I've made several dinners with it (pizza, pork chops that I served over chard seasoned with lemon, garlic, olive oil and Old world Italian), as well as adding some to a vinaigrette that I used in an Italian sandwich. It would be also excellent in meatballs. I love to cook, so I'm excited to try this Spice House blend!

I love that you can still see the texture of the ingredients and the aroma......OMG! It makes my whole kitchen smell delicious. It is American made. I will absolutely look for more of their spices.

Nobody does it better than Spice House. The seasoning looks fresh the smell is robust and lively. I used it to make some homemade Italian sausage for pizza. I feel like the flavor was full and savory. I didn't find it particularly spicy. The fennel came through nicely. I would buy again and I'd always recommend Spice House for fresh spices or a classy gift. You get a huge bottle and it's a rich blended mix of oregano, fennel, chili flakes, and garlic that gives an old school rustic, and savory Italian taste to pasta, beef, pork or veggies. I put it on my chicken thighs and honestly it was great. It really gives a perfect blend of flavors to anything especially Italian dishes.

Versatile. As it's similar to traditional Italian cooking, this seasoning is perfect for pasta dishes. I've use this in tomato based spaghetti and meatballs and it really enhances the flavor. Also great in soup and stew. Large bottle lasts a long time. Good value.

The blend or oregano, flennel, garlic, and a hint of chile flakes gives it such a warm, rustic Italian flavor. It made the chicken taste so flavorful and juciy without needing anything else. I've tried it in my spaghetti and meatballs, pappardelle bolognese, and now the spicy Italian sausage with rigatoni. The addition of this spice blend greatly enhanced the flavors of all my dishes! When you smell the blend straight from the bottle, you'll stay salivating. It smells so fresh and robust. It definitely is what it says on the bottle—“freshly ground flavor”. This won't be one of those spices than sit in your in your pantry for 5+ years that start getting hard, lol. You'll probably go though this blend in less than a year because it's that's good. It has fennel in it which is knelt my favorite herb/spices to use in Italian cooking. Sometimes I'll even use fennel bulb to cook with. That spice in and of itself adds so much to dishes. Most people may not think so because of its licorice taste but….try it! The blend will be excellent on meats before searing, too. This will be a repeat purchase for sure.
