I bought this lunch box in September for my 5 year old for his first year of school. I was a little worried because he has never used lunch boxes or knew how to open correctly without spilling but this lunch box was SO easy for him to get the hang of. It has enough space for him to have all of his favorite foods in it. We love it!

We use this almost every day for our daughter’s lunches. It even works great for dinners for kids who like everything separated. We just bought a second box to pack two lunches at a time and save us from making lunch every day. I’m even more amazed by their customer service when the latch on our first box broke. Juliene V was so helpful and prompt— seriously, this is the best service I’ve have experienced in years.

My daughter loved her Bengto until this morning when she discovered mold on the upper lid. I tried everything to get the mold off and was unsuccessful....tea tree oil, vinegar soak, microban. You name it. Unfortunately, after the attempts to get the mold off and the aggressive scrubbing, we won't be able to use it anymore.

I am so glad I discovered these lunch boxes! As a busy mom to three school age boys, anything that can make my mornings easier I am all for! After years of trying off brand bento style lunch boxes, a friend recommended bentgo. I am so impressed! They hold the perfect remount of food for 2 younger my kiddos (ages 6,8), cleaning them is such a breeze, they can easily open/close them and the best part they are LEAK PROOF! I’ve packed both dipping sauces and yogurt with no transfer or leakage. They fit perfectly into LLBEAN and wildkin lunchboxes, are lightweight but still quite sturdy and I love that they have a 2 year warranty (I know my kids are hard on stuff so that made the price even more worth it!). So instead of being like me and cycling through a million “off brand” boxes advertised we kids bentos… buy a bentgo and save yourself lots of time and frustration! I bought these for my mother who is at a nursing home. The food is brought from home and it NEVER spills. It stays hot. These unit are perfect size and allow you to measure the food intake. The inner tray comes out easily and is microwave safe. The units wash properly - no residual smell. These things are a life saver. I highly recommend them.

We purchased one earlier this year and it developed mold on the inside which I couldn't get off. Their customer service was very understanding and is sending a new one for my son. I love how child-friendly these are and my kids love them. Thank you, Bentgo!

I reached out to them on a weekend to ask for safe ways to remove mold from my son's bentgo box as he forgot it at school. They were super fast to respond ( on a weekend) and gave me solutions to try to resolve the problem. When that did not work they offered a replacement. We have a good amount of their products and have not had any issues. Will gladly continue to buy these for our 3 kids who take lunch to school daily.

The closure tabs break in less than a year. I've had two so far and this has been the case for each, though now I'm learning that the outer shell should not go into the dishwasher. Fingers crossed that 3rd times the charm and handwashing keeps it lasting long! Besides that, the container is easy for my preschooler to use. We like how we can keep foods in their own separate spaces. The space for a sandwich is a little to small for a full-sized sandwich, but perfect for 1/2 a sandwich.

Both kids (6, 8 yo) use these daily for their lunches. It has made lunch preparation so much easier, especially when they come home empty. The kindergartner dropped her box and a snap popped off. She didn't realize it could pop back in and threw it away. Customer service replied in less than 24 hours and is mailing a replacement.

I got these for my son who just started Kindergarten, after hearing all the hype about them. Let me just say they are worth the hype! These boxes are great for little kids, easy to open, perfect portion sizing and of course, aesthetically pleasing! I totally wish they had these around when I was a kid, but since they didn’t I’m enjoying my morning packing them up all cute for my little guy! I highly recommend these!
