I took 2 separate tests and they both had a test line show up (with color). We’ve been trying for 3 years and I was so excited. Took another this morning and NEGATIVE! Wtf First Response? Don’t buy unless you want to get your hopes up just to be heartbroken!

I bought a 3 pack of these tests and was ecstatic when a pink line showed up immediately. It was faint but unmistakably positive. Took another later that afternoon, another pink line. Took the 3rd the next morning and negative. The doctor confirmed that it was negative with a blood test that day. He said if it was a chemical pregnancy there would still be hcg in my system. It would not be out that quickly. After trying for months this was Heartbreaking.

Followed the instructions step by step and now I’m confused. I took a early result test once at night and it came back negative. I took this one the following morning and it came back positive but very faint, the next morning another negative. Unsure if I’m pregnant or not but I’m super anxious.

I bought several boxes of these tests this month. I got positives on MANY 6 days sooner, the rapid and digital tests. I had blood work done last week to confirm pregnancy. My HCG level was <1. I took another First Response test after that result and got another positive. I therefore decided to try other brands and only got negatives. I decided to have my blood drawn again a few days later and got the same result (negative). My husband and I spent close to $100 (if not more), just this month on tests. These tests are not cheap! It was a waste. We kept buying this brand as it is supposed to be the best. These tests caused a very emotional week and heartbreak. I’ll stick with my cheap tests from Amazon as they are more accurate and affordable.

The new curved design and wider strip are great. Peeing on a stick is awkward to begin with but this improved design makes it easier. Highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product 3 days ago and loved the ease of use. The new shape allows the test to be held much easier and fits perfectly in the hand. The wider tip makes using the test also easier with less chance mistakes from not enough urine.

FRER have been my go to pregnancy tests for 14 years. Almost all those years the tests have been flawless except when they had those awful curved handle tests that often had bad indents and now whatever they did to these. Yes they are just indents, no I have not had 9 chemical pregnancies for 9 months straight. Here is one of the 8 tests that I got a faint lines on when I was 8 weeks postpartum and on birth control. Every month after that I continued to get faint lines that literally pop up within 2 minutes. I see other women’s tests with the same line probably a dozen a day on an app I’m on and no for the ignorant ladies in the back we ALL aren’t having chemicals. I have never had this problem until this year, I’m sure they’ll blame it on COVID if they ever even say anything about all the complaints. Also for that ignorant person who said the test line needs to be as dark as the control line for it to be positive must not know how to read because the instructions say otherwise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the First Response pregnancy test can detect a pregnancy up to 6 days sooner than a missed period. I was anxious to find out my results and didn't have to wait too long thanks to this test. My two favorite features of the product are the long handle and wide test strip. The long handle on the stick is so convenient and makes using the product so easy (no messes), while the wide test strip adds to the ease of using it. I would recommend this product!

We have been trying for 6 years now and I’ve always used the strip test until last week I wanted to get a more expensive brand to test this month. Well I got 1 pack of the 2 test early results and I got a faint positive the second line was pink. So I took the other and it was pink as well. I was so excited so I bought 3 more boxes of the 2 pack. All faint positives with pink lines. Well I went to the dr and I absolutely was not pregnant. I left devastated! I was curious as to why I got so many positive tests. So I got another box to test something. I took one and my sister who cannot have children anymore took one both came with a faint second line that was pink. Absolutely unacceptable!!!!

I have used these when I found out I was pregnant all 3 times. They work really well and are the most trusted brand in my opinion. They aren't cheap but they work so well. Each time I found out early on that I was pregnant because I used of these tests.
