I purchased a two pace yesterday and took the test with in 3-4 mins they were both positive , so just to reassure my self I bought 4 more test came home took them they were all positive within minutes, this morning I woke up and ran to the store and bought another two pack took them and they were negative ...what's going on ? I trust the 6 that were positive but why the negative ones this morning ? I've always only used first response because I trust the results but now I'm starting to wonder about them because now I'm seeing all this stuff on evaporation lines . My test were all positive before 10 mins and evaporation lines shouldn't show up with in the time frame that the test needs to work , if so than I won't ever purchase this product again . I'm very familiar with taking home pregnancy test and haven't ever had this problem till now ,

Sometimes due to my birth control I miss my periods, so I normally keep a few tests around just to make sure that Im only late because of that. First Response has always been reliable for me, so I plan on continuing to buy them whenever I need to double check!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This test claims to be the best and be able to tell you 6 days in advance however the cheaper ones seem to be better. You pay a fortune for this test and it’s not accurate. This test gave me a wrong negative when I was positive.

I’ve been taking this test for 5 days straight and it’s REALLY sensitive to the changing hCG. I took a test on a Friday and it was clearly negative. Took it again on the following Tuesday and the second line was faint. By Saturday, the line was BEYOND clear. It’s still very early into my pregnancy (supposed to have my period now, on day 5 of taking the test) so who knows if it’ll “stick” (fingers crossed!) but I’m truly shocked at how the second line is darker and darker every day.

I held onto the faith that maybe I possibly was pregnant, nope. Started AF a day before I was supposed to. I feel like I always get faint positives with these tests & negatives on every other test! Disappointed to say the lease..

I have been TTC for 10 months and have taken plenty of tests. I really dislike the new curved design and the horrible indent at the test line. This is an unfortunate design flaw that didn't have to happen. The curved window gets a glare no matter which way I hold it, making it harder to read the results. As for the results, the indent always shows up and makes it confusing as to whether I'm getting a faint positive or just an indent line. I don't know how or why this design was approved, but it wasn't that difficult to go on a straight stick. And if someone was having a hard time accomplishing that, using a cup and dipping has always been an option. Please bring back the original design without a huge indent at the test line!!

It's been 2 years since my last baby and they have since changed the tests. Before when it was positive, the test line would get darker and darker with each day. Now, the control line comes up first and the test line is so light. I had my first positive 5 days ago. The test line should be really dark by now. It's not. For women who have had losses, this is just horrible. The peace of mind is that line getting darker and darker. Please go back to the old tests.

I was beyond excited to have two lines on a test. Even my husband could see the second line clear as day! We have been trying for a baby for almost two years now and this was perfect! UNTIL MY NEXT TEST WAS STARK WHITE! I’ve NEVER had an indent this bad before! I’m beyond upset with this company. Countless of horrid indents and yet they’re still in business.

The instructions are very well explained and easy to understand.The box says you can get a positive up to 5 days before your missed period, but everyone needs to understand that you can't get a positive until after implantation occurs. That is my only recommendation.
