[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the First Response pregnancy test can detect a pregnancy up to 6 days sooner than a missed period. I was anxious to find out my results and didn't have to wait too long thanks to this test. My two favorite features of the product are the long handle and wide test strip. The long handle on the stick is so convenient and makes using the product so easy (no messes), while the wide test strip adds to the ease of using it. I would recommend this product!

I've gotten false positives every time with this new design. It's very upsetting. I used first response with my first two pregnancies, it was always my go to and never had a problem.I wont be using first response anymore...unless you bring back the old design

I bought the 2 pack of this test yesterday and both came back positive. I wanted to be absolutely sure it was positive so I took another this morning and it was negative... Now I’m reading all of the reviews of the same thing happening to other women. Now I’m just left disappointed and very confused. Fix your test because they are not totally accurate.

The Evap lines are so bad in the new tests that they actually look like there are two lines indicating a positive. I had my husband look at it as well and he thought it was positive too because of the second faint pink line. This brand has been good for so long, I wish they would go back to the way that they were doing things. Unfortunately I am out $30 in tests and left feeling heartbroken since we have been trying for so long.

love these tests, they are very accurate and I have used LOADS of different brands over the years. I really recomend using FR if you are testing before your period is due. I'm not sure about the 6 days early claim but I got my BFP at 12DPO and it wasn't showing.

I have been a huge fan of first response with my other babies, but the ones I just bought already had a positive line BEFORE I even used it! That's so irritating when you are 3 days late and you just want to know if you're pregnant or not! I will never buy first response again. Their tests need recalled immediately.

This used to be the only brand I trusted... but after countless false positives, tears and broken hearts I am never going to buy these again. They need to dial back their sensitivity or something because I get clear positives just to get a 1 on my beta.

Every pregnancy app and group that I’m in agrees. FRER famous for giving “false positives” because of the indent line giving a fairy faint “positive” affect. I got one on 6DPO and with high hopes, I kept taking them and I still am getting the SAME line (no darker) at 20DPO AND now I stared AF. If you take it out of the test and turn it over you can see that’s it’s only an indent. Must just want us to spend more money hoping the line will get darker and we thinking we can only possibly see an early line on the “best test ever”. I will not use these tests next cycle or ever again.

The new tests are horrible. I have been using them for a few cycles..each cycle I have been getting a shadow line that looks like a faint positive, which can be really confusing for early testing. This past cycle I got a pink second line, that looked like a faint positive. I was so excited, ran out bought another pack of these and got blood work done. All the other tests were negative and my blood hcg level was 0 that afternoon. No longer trust this brand. They are way to expensive to not be accurate. Exp. to be giving false positive after you spend so much money on them. The false positive did make me run out and by more, so I guess it is a good way for the company to make money . Shame. I use to trust this brand. Buyers beware. don't trust the faint lines.

Accurate results and a reasonable price point. I find these and the EPT tests to be the ones I gravitate towards. It’s very simple to use, which I value and I can see others appreciating when looking to find out if this major potential life event is gonna happen.
