This is a nice backpack. Design is attractive. Bottom storage didn’t work out because items would fall out or items crushed since kids did not always use lunch container. Although, it was a smart innovative way of saving kids/parents energy of looking for additional lunch bag, it didn’t work out well for me. I recommend another alternative for insulated section either on top or in front separate compartment. This is a photo after it has been used. Held up pretty well.

They need a backpack that is roomy enough for their clothing layers and has enough pockets to stay organized with small items like mittens. Good zipper pulls for gloved and mittened hands also. The chest strap makes a big difference to distribute the weight—the kids who have chest straps are more successful at carrying their backpacks independently. The bento box compartment is a great feature. Overall quality construction and thoughtful design.

Having the ice pack is a game changer for us. I know that his lunch will stay cooler longer while in school which makes a difference in the health and quality of the food my son is eating. The box is easy to open for him and the compartments are a perfect size.

I bought a bentgo chill lunchbox last year for my daughter and we love it! It kept her food fresh until lunch time even in the heat of Southern California. Unfortunately it developed stains on the rubber seals. I contacted customer service and they were prompt to address my concerns and sent me a replacement right away! Our kids and I love this box! It fits nicely in my kids' lunch bags and has enough room to put their meal, including a snack, a veggie, and a fruit. It's super easy to wash and lasts so long. Both my kids have been using these boxes for preschool and elementary school. The added bonus is the ice pack! We've used it on hot days to keep their sandwiches cool.

This lunchbox is great for my toddler. It’s really nice to be able to put his lunchbox in her backpack without having the need of an additional lunch box on the side. It’s a little bit heavy with the ice pack, but my child only 3. Also she had a little bit of trouble opening the clasp on the box by herself. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase. I really like to bring it for snacks to the park, and to Disney World. It keeps everything cold all day.

Fits my 5year old well, she loves that it has a chest buckle. Roomy, no issues getting a standard folder and all her school supplies in the main pocket. Lunch spot on the bottom has enough space for her Bentgo kids box and a drink or snack. Great overall!
