I really loved the idea of this lunch box to keep my kids food cold at school. Unfortunately it’s too heavy for a kindergartner to put in his backpack. So it will be back to using ice packs for us. For family trips it will be great but not for walking bravely into the classroom.

We have been a Bentgo family for years, and were excited to upgrade to the chill boxes once my daughter started school. The ice pack keeps my daughters lunch cold from the start of our day, through lunch, and is still cold when we return home! I can't recommend this product enough!

My daughter has been using this since she was 13 months old. She knows how to open and close it and loves opening it herself. I especially love how I can pack her various foods and nothing touches (we all know how kids don’t like food touching) 10/10 product!

We have a few Bentgo boxes and have used them very often over the last few years. We had a slight issue with one about 6 months after purchase and I reached out to see if they had advise on solving in. They were very quick to respond and helped the situation beyond what I was looking for! Definitely will continue to be Bentgo fans for a while to come!

We bought a few of these a year ago and after a little while, it became impossible to get all four sides of top to snap shut. I can usually get 3 sides snapped if I spend a minute to do so, but the last side never fully shuts. We have taken care of it the way instructions note (too rack dishwasher safe). The issue is that, food items/liquid spill out since it can’t be completely shut. When my kid returns from daycare, the backpack is completely covered in food and has to be washed because the box couldnt be closed shut. So, not worth it-especially at the high price tag.

All of us, parents and kiddo, love this lunchbox. We keep food cool in it in the fridge, then keep it cool on the go with the ice pack. Refill as needed. The food tray also comes out for use at the dinner table. Got recommended this by a friend and we've never looked back, and have recommended it to everyone we know.

We bought a Bentgo chill box almost 3 months ago. We noticed a few molds on the lower side of the box. When we reached out to the support team, they were very supportive and quick with their responses. We are being told to receive a replacement soon. Happy to be a Bentgo user.

Bought a set of lunch boxes back in Feb 2022 and over time, it was difficult to shut the lids closed. I contacted customer service and Angelou responded quickly. Within 4 days, I received the replacements. Would recommend. Love our Bentgo lunch boxes and other products we have purchased!

I bought this for my 1st grade son this school year. Thinking how awesome it was to not have to carry your lunch box/bag back and forth to the cafeteria. But with this bag giving you room for your lunch on the bottom, takes up space alloted for folders, binders, lap tops, etc! My son has a folder that comes and goes each day with him. That barely fits in this back, it does come home bent but that is not his fault that normal size binders dont fit into this backpack. Another thing I do not like is the fact that it only fits the bentgo lunch box and that is it on the bottom. Nt other room for a drink or silveware. We all know no kid brings their whole backpack to lunch, so now my 6 year old has to carry his bentgo box, a drink and whatever snack that did not fit in the bottom to lunch. Luckily I love this brand, so I will just deal with it and purchase the kids bentgo lunch box and he can just clip to his new back pack. But like I said the thought was a great idea...just not practical for me unless they make them bigger!

The product is good for elementary school (age 5-8). It would be a bit small for older children. The ice pack stays cold enough for school and is a nice alternative than a separate ice back. We had an issue with the clasp popping open so we would use a rubber band when we sent the lunchbox to school. However, customer service is excellent (5 stars for customer service).
