[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried many fabric conditioners in the past but this one is the best so far. As it claims, it is as gentle as it can get. What is most important is that the product is free of dyes and perfumes which can be a concern for many. Most of the products out there today contains significant amounts of perfumes and dyes which may ruin clothes and for those who are sensitive, perfumes can be irritating. Moreover, it claims to be dermatologist tested so what more can you ask for? I have been using this product to wash my delicate clothing and white colored shirts which has served me very well. I love it so much I've been bragging about it to my parents and family members so they would also give it a try. Overall, great product and definitely would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think Downy Free and Gentle Liquid Fabric Conditioner makes my clothes feel fresh and rejuvenated. I used along with my normal laundry detergent and compared before/after to find that my clothes were reset to a great feeling. I normally wash my clothes with only laundry detergent to clean and smell good, however after adding a fabric conditioner my clothes did not contain as much extra lint and felt smoother. Adding to a He washing machine was very simple. Just measure after adding clothes and add to the designated fabric softner location. Very easy to do with only another pour. The wash cycle remains the same and you can dry as usual.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, I really like the fact that Downy Free & Gentle has no added dyes or scents, I really think they are unnecessary. I've been using detergents without those additives, and now there is a fabric softener that does the same thing! Hooray! I've actually stayed away from fabric softeners recently because they have way too much scent. I've used it on about 5 loads so far, underwear, towels, dress shirts, pants. They all seem to have come out in better shape than I expected. Can't wait to use it on more fabrics and items - wondering if using it on my throw rugs will help them stay clean longer, as fabric softeners tend to make them seem like they get dirtier sooner. The other problem I've had with liquid fabric softeners is that while they make the clothes soft and fluffy, there is also a bit of a heaviness to them, like they've absorbed the softener into the fabric. But Downey Free & Gentle seems different. the clothes are soft. They are fluffy. But there is nothing that seems heavy, which is really nice.

Everyone knows that my daughter has very sensitive skin and Downy Fabric Softener has No dyes and no perfumes. Our family dog (we refer to her as our sons' "little sister"; she kind of rules the house) has terrible allergies. As part of preventative measures, I switched to hypoallergenic detergent and cleaning supplies. I had always used Downy fabric softener in the past but was unaware that a fragrance- and dye-free option was available. As soon as I got my hands on a bottle, I stripped our beds and washed everything. Everything came out of the washer smelling clean but not perfumed, and it is so nice to sleep on SOFT sheets again! I Just used it on a load of towels and they feel great!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am giving this product four stars because I miss the smell of the usual downy products but otherwise it is definitely a 5 star product. It is easy to use, I put it in my downy ball, and throw the ball right into the washing machine. My clothes feel extra soft and look like new. When I decided to try this product I wasn't sure I would even notice a difference and thankfully, I was wrong. From the first wash cycle I immediately noticed that my clothes were softer. I will definitely be using this product in the future but next time I will get the one with the fantastic downy scent!

I'm glad that i found this product as it gives your cloth the same softness without any additional perfumes. No signs of alergy so far as my skin is too sensitive for certain products..
