I've been looking for a portable washer at a reasonable price with a good capacity. Everything advertised was at least $100 higher than this one and didn't have as many features. It has a lot of settings and the capacity is only slightly less than a full size washing machine. It quick couples to the sink in my bathroom, I load it, set the selection I want, turn it on and forget it. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great machine in a slightly smaller package than a full size that preforms flawlessly.

I bought this washer and from the 2nd wash onwards, getting the Error Code E1. Checked to see if there is water leakage or the drain out blockage nothing. So, the washer is getting the error code E1 when the washer comes to the RINSE stage. If that is fixed, I would give the washer 5 stars if not 0 stars

After seeing all of these online reviews, I was quite skeptical of how good this machine actually was. I purchased it, and immediately realized that these reviews are genuine. Pros: -Very quiet operation. Does not disturb neighbours, even those located right next door (we share a wall) -Very quick wash cycles, range from 30-60 minutes. Since the machine is located right in our unit, we have no reason to wait until we get a pile of laundry and was more frequently, so we run the smaller cycles. -Efficient. Uses/drains very little water -Does not require a dedicated hot water connection. You have the option of just using the cold, and adjusting the temperature on the faucet itself (not the machine- must be selected cold). -Capacity. We can fit queen bedsheets in one load* (We use blankets instead of a traditional duvet due to it being a warmer building). I'm sure you would have no issue running sheets in here over two loads of any size bed. Great mix of being a compact size to fit a spot in your place for, but having a decent capacity. Cons: -Does a decent job of spinning, however clothes do take a while to dry. Obviously depends on your place but since we do not get a lot of air flow in our unit, it takes us upwards of 12-14 hours to dry a medium sized load. Takes even longer for our bedsheets. Not a huge downside but something to keep in mind. This unit DOES come with your typical faucet adapter, however you may need to visit the hardware store as the hoses are quite small. Overall, a great buy. Do not hesitate as this thing is totally worth every penny! (Especially now on sale)

This RCA 1.6 Portable Washer is the best I ever bought. It's priced just right, it's quite, works just like a big full size washer and it's apartment size too. I just got my washer and so did my sister (we both ordered the same washer from WalMart.com). I've had my washer since December 14, 2015. The only problem this washer has is, it does not have front wheels. I solved this problem by purchasing a Telescope Dolly on wheels from WalMart.com. This Dolly helps me move my washer to and from the sink when needed. It also takes up very little space. I have washed several different days so far. It washes just as many clothes as my previous compact portable washers did, but the RCA washes my clothes cleaner, leaves them fresher, my clothes are fluffier from the dryer, it has several different water levels and different set times for washing. So far I can wash 3 pair of Jeans, 2 Cardigan Sweaters and 5 pair of socks. Another load had 4 long sleeved shirts, 5 sets of women's underwear, and 3 night gowns. I also washed 6 bath and 6 face towels. This morning I washed a queen sized sheet set (flat and fitted) with pillow cases and did they come out absolutely clean and fresh smelling. You don't need to use a lot of liquid detergent like you do or did in your old washer, otherwise you will have soap subs all over the place and you will have to wash your clothes over multiple times to get the soap out of them. I use less bleach with less detergent. The bleach makes the wash water get soapier, so watch out. This is a money saver on detergent and bleach. I have told my friends about my washer and anyone who will listen to my bragging rights about my new washer. Thank you WalMart.com.

This was a great size and bigger than I imagined it being, which isn't a problem. It's just me and my husband and I use my washer about 2-3 times a week. We opted out of getting a dryer so we have a drying rack. I hook it up to the sink in the kitchen and my only issue is that the adapter for the sink may not be the correct size because it does spray a mist when it's on so rather than stressing to find a new adapter at Lowes, I just wrap a paper towel around it and it works totally fine. It makes me nervous to leave the water running though during the wash when it isn't using the water so I just turn off the water until it needs it again for rinsing. It has only had a code come up on the screen once but I recommend SAVING your manual because it has good information and a list of code errors and how to fix the issue. My issue was just "close the lid" hehe, I wanted to watch it washing but the lid has to be closed for it to wash which is smart I suppose. It's not very loud and I live in a two story home so if I go in the other room and have on light music or go upstairs I don't hear it all. You can get a good amount of clothes in without having to force it and towels are no biggy, I usually only put about 3 max in at a time with a couple other light clothes like underwear and socks. We have liquid detergent and SERIOUSLY it does NOT take much detergent at all. I recommend using just enough to fill the bottom of your detergent lid for a "large load" because a little goes a long way in this compared to a regular washer which is GREAT because we are saving on detergent - big time. Because we don't have a dryer and things have to air dry on a rack, the clothes do feel a bit stiff once dried, but I think it just has to do with how much detergent you are using and how long we let the clothes sit out to dry. If you catch them right as they are dry then they aren't stiff, but if you let them sit for an entire day they get stiff. Once you iron or put them in your closet or drawers though they loosen up like normal. Clothes come out clean and smelling good. I do have a KING size bed - so I wash the top and fitted sheets with a few other whites and use a little bleach and they all come out fresh and the machine can handle it just fine. The clothes do sometimes get tangled up because of the way it agitates the clothes, but that doesn't bother me i just untangle them as i'm putting them up to dry. Because it put it to my sink and have the water connected to just cold on the machine, I decide if I want to wash them in Hot or Cold water just by turning on the hot or cold faucet. Again, no biggy and at least i control how hot or cold I want it.

Very spacious. Fits most clothes. Jeans,towels, bedding might have to do a few more loads. But man does this washing machine wash.! Everything comes out clean and smells great. It’s a high efficiency washer so low sud HE detergent. Hoses could be a little longer but not bad. It also comes with a quick connect for your faucet.

I didn't think I would be one of the customers that missing pieces and a dent in my machine. I like the fact they delivered but if I am going to spend $200 + I would like everything that I need in the box. I'm giving 2 stars because I didn't have much trouble returning and getting my refund.

My wife is out of town helping her mother a while so I've been doing the laundry. I didn't realize what a pain it was carrying the laundry up and down the stairs and far away to the community laundry room. I just purchased this unit and have done several loads already. I must say I never knew how amazing and more easier life can be with something like this. My wife will ceratainly love it I'm sure. I just need to find a longer drain hose extension in the same size so I can better position it. Great product and very simple to use with excellent versatility. Nice job RCA and thank you Walmart.

Washer arrived two-day shipping FedEx with one small dent. Contacted Walmart and they issued a ten percent refund same day to my account! First-day 08/22/2019 was a BIG SUCCESS, unpacking a little tough for one person, set-up a breeze, manual easy to read!!! The RCA 1.6 cu ft compact washer design is modern sleek and beautiful, it is a GREAT fit for my small apartment. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of items that fit in one load; SOMEHOW everything comes out quite fresh and clean. I think the secret is tiny cleaning pixies one per tub! tee-hee Pause the washer anytime to open and add soap or arrange clothing, some items tangle such as long sleeve t-shirts. Wash t-shirts in a large mesh laundry bag to help prevent tangling. The presoak, quick wash, and the powerful 800 RPM spin cycle are EXCEPTIONAL features in this economical washer! I read all the reviews and severely reduced my soap measurement, a little goes a long way with all the pixie swirling and swishing!!! It is REMARKABLY QUIET, from the next room I thought the washer had stopped and mistakenly went to reset the cycle, it was running efficiently! I hope this RCA washer will be durable too! I'm very pleased with it, however, after 2 loads (one small, one medium) I noticed that it can be difficult to keep items with legs from twisting around each other and ending up with one big mess that causes the agitate and spin cycles from being evenly balanced and thusly having to open and untangle throughout. I've a double kitchen sink where the left side has my dish drainer and the water draining out of the washer drains fast -- it will back up into the second sink slightly so the left side sink needs to be empty when doing a load of wash.
