I am just so amazed at this carpet cleaner. I had some bad stains on my living room floor from my 2 year old spilling things. I went over the carpet with this one time and I cant even believe how clean it got! I did it again just to see if there was any dirt left behind and now my carpet looks brand new! This thing is worth every penny. It looks so nice also and easy so easy to push. It didnt feel like those large heavy ones I've used before. It was so easy to clean it and store it for next time.

We had an older carpet cleaner from Hoover and we liked it, but we used it a lot and felt we were due for a new one. The new one is lighter and easier to use. We have back and leg problems and this new cleaner was so much easier on us. It also cleans better than the older model, so we love working with it.

This Carpet Cleaner is the absolute best. I've had 4 or 5 different carpet cleaners and I'll never buy a different brand other than Hoover again. So simple to operate and clean. It has an amazing suction. In one room there was a grey traffic pattern from my husband work shoes that I could never get out. Without spot remover, this machine made my carpet beige again. Absolutely fantastic.

I bought this a month ago and so glad I did! I have a new puppy and with puppies comes occasional accidents. I have been using a hand vacuum to clean my area rugs which I thought were clean until I used the Hoover Smartwash! I love that it's so simple to use just like a regular vacuum and it is the easiest to clean the containers and brushes when you're done with it. It's so simple I love doing my area rugs once a week! If you're contemplating getting this DON'T as you will not regret your purchase!

This is the best carpet cleaner I've ever owned, and I've had quite a few. I've cleaned my own carpets for many years and about 2 years ago we decided to have a professional come in and knock the whole house out....I was disappointed. Last night, I cleaned our living room ( the second area since my purchase) this morning it looks so good! The key is to clean, do it again with just water to extract any residual soap, then a dry only round to finish. Very happy customer, I would recommend this unit to others. Thanks Hoover

For years I have used the Hoover Max Extract and I upgraded to this model. WAY nicer than before. All the little things that bothered me previously are taken care of in this model. I had seen the marketing saying it felt like running a vacuum and found that hard to believe, but they were right! My thumb used to hurt from holding the switch and this model there is no switch to hold. I used to wonder if it was dispensing water or sucking it up, this model a word lights which one it is doing as it does it. After you finish you don't have a partial mixture of solution that has been watered down. You can easily change which hoover solution you are using, whether it is for carpet or hard floors. This model is made for carpet. My only hesitation in selecting it was I wanted it for both carpet and linoleum. I use it on my linoleum and it works fabulous! The linoleum floors dry as quickly as the previous model, which was made for that. Within about 10 minutes they are dry and ready to use. It is light and easy to manuever around with a very generous long cord. I am the kind of person that reads manuals from cover to cover before using the machine. However, on this unit I didn't read it at all. It is extremely user friendly! They have good clear labeling and reminders printed on the unit. The tanks are large and allow to cover a large area before needing to dump or refill them. Normally there are a few things on something that I am not the most thrilled about and wish were different, but I have yet to find any suggestions for improvement on this one. Shocking! My husband wasn't fond of spending the money to upgrade, but once it arrived and he saw how happy I was with it he didn't mind. I was so excited and found it so simple to use that I did the entire house floors instead of the few rooms I was originally after. We don't have pets so I can't say how it does with their messes. We host dinner parties and it was very helpful at getting up food spills. You can totally tell where the well traveled areas are and when all the dirt is up with this unit. The top casing is extremely clear and you can see the dirty water and dirt go past as it sucks it up. That makes it easy to know if you got it all or need to go over it a second time. I LOVE this new unit! I am VERY impressed!

I purchased this last month and used it on my living room and hall carpets and it did a great job. The drying feature is great as it doesn't take the carpet long to dry. I also used it on a wool area rug in my family room and it clean it great and it didn't shrink it at all, the drying feature is great as the rug was just damp when we were done cleaning it.

I have not had this machine over 3 months and it's already broke. Hoping it's just the belt but of course the manual doesn't provide proper directions to get to the belt to check or replace. Worst marching I ever bought. Waste of money! Wish I could return it and be done with it!

I just bought one and it is so much better the the bissell i had. It adds the perfect Mixture of detergent. It is nice that as you push forward it puts down the perfect amount of water not soaking your carpet. While pulling back it dries and has such an amazing suction pulling up the water from the carpet. When it says it will have your carpet dry within 45 minutes it isn't lying. Also the hose for doing the stairs is super long and can most likely do the whole staircase.This was one of the best purchase I have had in a long time.
