I purchased this cleaner for my grandparents house. Their carpets are very old and very stained. I really just wanted to steam them so that I knew they were clean. I did not expect years old stains to come up after one to two passes. This machine amazing AND it is easy to use and clean. I am a believer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy it is to use and how all the parts come off easily to clean. I've used it for couches, chairs, and our carpets and it has worked great with everything. I use a more natural/green carpet detergent and it works well with the Hoover.

Today I received my Hoover SmartWash, it was simple to put together and simple to use. My house is not big so I cleaned 3 rooms in a matter of an hour or less. It's like vacuuming that simple. One of my rooms was used for my pets so imagine the stains omg I wish I did a before and after that room looks like it has new carpeting. I absolutely love this machine well worth the money and would recommend it to anyone with carpeting!!!!!!

It came with a nice sized scratch on it and it takes a quite a long time to dry but other than those couple flaws I think it is a good buy and definitely does the trick. I have a seven year old daughter who spills and a french bulldog that has accidents in the house from time to time and it cleans those messes well.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago... Had previously hired "carpet cleaners " in the past. But this on advertisement caught my eye....... This Hoover carpet cleaner. Well let me say that I am shocked.... This machine is not only lightweight, but AWSOME ! It's so easy to use...If you can use a vacuum cleaner. you can use this. highly recommend

We always got pro's to clean our rugs and never trusted on how clean there equipment is with cleaning other people's carpets. Think about it yuk. We did our homework on different products and Hoover was the Best. We got this thing and couldn't believe the job it did and how EASY IT IS TO USE,and how quick and easy to set up. Love this Machine. Now I'm the Pro. Just kidding. Thanks Hoover.

The new features like being able to open and remove the brushes for cleaning / rinsing is nice. However the wet/dry feature doesn't work well. I purchased this due to the great reviews regarding the dry feature. The drying doesn't work that well and the carpet is still fairly wet. I believe my shopvac has more suction. It would be nice to have some control on areas that require more shampoo. You'll have to pre treat.

I had recently tossed out my old Scrubber, I had duct taped the attachment hoses to the machine because parts were broken which made it a real pain to use. I saw the infomercial for the Hoover SmartWash on a Sunday a week and a half ago, ordered one on Monday. It came in just a few days and I was so excited to use it. I started with a large living room, which would normally use at least 3 tanks of fresh water with mixing the detergent in the tank. This new machine is amazing. It is so easy to use, and uses so little water. This machine cleans better than any other carpet scrubber than I have ever owned, and I've had several. It seriously only used a little over a tank of water and brought back life to a very old carpet. It brought up the fibers that have been crushed for years from furniture. The brushes have longer bristles that really get deap into the carpet. I am so impressed that I told two of my coworkers about it, and they both have ordered one. You will not be disappointed with this. I cannot wait to clean my other two rooms this weekend. I have 2 big dogs and 2 cats in the house, so there is always something to clean up. I plan on using this for all the smaller messes that come up because it is really lightweight and easy to use. The clean up is so easy because all the parts come off, you rinse brushes and it looks brand new. Just be careful not to pull to hard when cleaning and detaching the part to get to the brushes, I did and I thought I broke it the first day, but I found the spring and I fixed it. I am so glad I ordered this scrubber and it is worth every penny.

I have a Hoover cleaner that is 21 years old and still works great. I decided to get this one as I am getting older and this seemed easier. I am so glad I did! I love this machine! Yesterday we bought a rewind vacuum! Love that too! You can't go wrong with either of these machines.

I have been using a Hoover SmartScrub 50 for about 2 years and it just could not handle the job of cleaning up after my two small dogs. I saw the advertisement for this cleaner and TV and had to try it. It is far superior to any cleaner I have used previously! I really like the dry only feature. Very easy to use, easy to take apart and clean
