After many years, my old machine suddenly broke and wasn't worth repairing. I quickly ordered this one and am very satisfied so far. It does not have as many features as my old one, and I miss a few of them (spot remover), but it's lighter- thank goodness! And it's much easier to clean. We have two large dogs, so the machine is quickly covered in dog hair.

I had a very large and clunky carpet cleaning machine that I used for years and I hated it! When I moved about 6 months ago most of the floors were hardwood with carpet in the bedrooms. I through out that old machine and took a chance on this Hoover SmartWash unit. I LOVE IT! Easy to use and it does a fantastic job!

I absolutely love this shampooer. It's so easy to use and it's so easy to push it. I love that this shampooer is very good quality. When I shampoo my carpet it looks like new again. I have never had a shampooer this good. Thanks to Hoover shampooer my house stays looking good and fresh. I would recommend this to anyone. This Hoover shampooer is my favorite.

I have been so happy with my purchase! It is so easy to set up and use. The machine is lightweight, and it is very easy to push forward and pull back. I love that everything is automatic - No mixing and no extra steps - so convenient! And on top of all that, the results have been beyond my wildest expectations. You have to get this machine!

I recently purchased my 4th Hoover product because I have never had a problem with them over the years. I instantly fell in love with my SmartWash. It was an extreme upgrade from my old Hoover carpet cleaner. About 3 months after I bought it the belt broke. I had no clue as to where my receipt was so I just knew I was screwed. I searched the internet and could not find one company who sold the belt. I ran across a blog and found someone with the same issue. They were informed to contact Hoover. I used the address that was posted on the blog and email this person at Hoover. Within 24 hours I was contacted. He never mentioned a receipt. He asked for my address and phone number and said he'd have a replacement on the way. He was not referring to a replacement belt. He was sending me a whole new unit. I was very skeptical until one showed up on my front porch about 5 days later. I was speechless! Hoover stands behind their product. If I ever need another vacuum or carpet cleaner it'll be nothing but a Hoover!

This machine is by far the best carpet cleaner I've ever had. I've got 3 dogs and a cat and I've owned several carpet cleaners and have rented industrial carpet cleaners and this out does them all. I love the fact that I don't have to dispense the water and cleaner, it automatically does it for you and the beautiful job it does is AMAZING!!!

I purchased this machine a month ago and it by far out performed all that I thought it would do. It's way better than any rug doctor or any rental, it's portable and easy to operate reservoirs pop in and out with a gentle pull and go back the same, I love it. It really cleans.

I needed to replace my old Hoover steam cleaner after 20 years and after reviewing many different cleaners, I am so glad I found this one. It cleans well as I expect from Hoover, but it's smartly designed to make cleaning the machine after use really easy too! The easy access to the brush rollers is genius. The infomercial says it all and I love my new machine. It's also self-propelled so it's not so heavy to push/pull. And the smaller footprint fits nicely next to my vacuum cleaner. My old machine was stored in the garage.
