This machine was the 3rd carpet cleaner we've owned and the first to actually deliver on its promise. Ingenious, well thought-out and engineered, it's clearly the evolutionary result of years listening to customers' suggestions and frustrations. And it does something remarkable. It really, REALLY CLEANS carpets. Easily and thoroughly. Cleaning our beige living room carpeting with a machine was always an exercise in disappointment. I'd read some good reviews on the web about this unit, so I sent for it. Got it yesterday and tried it today. In the 11 years that I've been cleaning, washing and shampooing our carpeting, my wife and I have never seen anything like the way this machine did the job. It's amazing to be reminded of the carpets original color. Ha, ha. We can't recommend it enough.

I just bought and put to the test right out of the box. So I want to tell the engineers who designed this that this is the standard. It's not crazy looking. Everything is practical. It's slim. It works. Don't change anything yet. Improve manufacturing so that this model will stand the test of time at this price range.

I've had Hzooover carpet shampooers for 40 years. Each time I get a new one, they just keep getting better. This one is no exception. It is so easy to install the water vessel; it just slides into place....no hooks and bulk. Same for the detergent. It is very light weight but has a heavy duty clean.

I bought this machine a few weeks ago. I am so happy I did! I am a dog mom of two and couldn't be more pleased with the product. It is super easy to use, it makes for easy cleanup of messes, and the machine itself is super easy to clean. This one is a keeper.

We used the carpet cleaner for the first time last night. Operated very well, love the fact the machine mixes the water and cleaner. We did have to turn off the water so we could extract the water on the rug. The rugs did get very wet so you have to watch how wet it is getting while you are cleaning. Machine was easy to use and set up. Cleaning was very easy.

I’ve had this for 6 months. I used it to move into a new apartment and it was used for occasional spills and messes from a toddler. About a month ago I noticed it was getting kind of Smoky with use. I tried to use it again last week with the windows open to see what was happening. My entire apartment was smoky within minutes and I noticed the silver plate at the bottom the plastic has started to peel and warp. Something is wrong with the belt or motors and I’m currently trying to get the problem resolved with Hoover. Before all the problems it worked wonders and is easy to clean. But I’m not sure if it’s worth it if the occasional use breaks it in 6 months

I chose this model because I wanted a cheaper alternative. I moved into my newly built home in March. This is the first time I've cleaned the carpets. I have 7 year old, 2 dogs and a cat. After using the machine on my beige carpets, I am pretty pleased. Walked in drink stains and old tracked in mud came up with ease and my carpets look new. Why am I not completely pleased? After one pass cleaning, one pass rinsing (as the instructions advise), and one pass suction only (to speed drying time, as instructed), the carpets were still not clean. The water sucked up into the water tank was still dark grey with muck from the carpet. However, carpets do look clean and they do smell fresh, so - I would recommend this machine. I will also share that I plan on investing in a deep cleaning machine soon and maybe washing the carpets more frequently from now on.

Our old machine was a Bissel Pet. The sprayer died and it was many year old so we decided to upgrade. After researching, I chose this brand and model and I'm so happy with it. It was so simple to put together and get going. Clean up was also really easy. The carpets were like new, old stains came up and it dried very quickly.

Two days after it was all clean our dog got sick. We thought well what better time to put this scrubber to the test. It fully cleaned the area with no sign of it ever happening.

I was in need of a new Carpet Cleaner, since my other Hoover was on it's last legs, and I had seen the TV commercial and figured that this one would be a good replacement. This one was also the same price as I paid for the other one I had purchased probably close to 15 years ago. This one is a bargain and works great. I have a newer home with mostly wood floors, but large area rugs, which I was able to clean and they were dry much more quickly than the previous model would leave them. I would recommend this product. t did a nice job.
