I bought this to replace a Hoover carpet cleaner that was approximately 10 years old. This is so easy to clean after you are done, which is important since I have 3 dogs, and no matter how much I vacuum, there is always more hair. I couldn't believe how well it cleaned!! I cleaned a whole room, and then did just one small area in my LR, and the next day I was shocked at the difference in that one small area to the rest of my carpet. Yep, I had to clean the rest of the room. I am one very happy customer.

Having tired of "professional" carpet cleaners and their mixed results and expense, I researched all the consumer carpet cleaners available on-line, and conclude the SmartWash+ was the right one. I have not been disappointed. We had a particularly dirty carpet in the master bedroom (pet stains), so that was the first one I used the SmartWash+ on. It did a wonderful job on a challenging target. I got excellent results by following the suggestions in the owner's manual: first application of cleaner; second round of plain water to rinse; and third round of vacuum only to speed up drying. It sounds tedious, but I got this area done in under an hour with great results.

Works great u can see all the dirt and what ever maybe in ur carpet. Cleaned my high traffic and pet accidents. Was considering replacing carpet until I got this SmartWash. High recommended compact size and no diluting or mixing it dies it all for u. Fill and use!!

We bought this to replace an older carpet cleaner that was really worn out. I was really happy with how it worked and the ease of using it. The Auto wash and dry directional movements worked really well and no premixing make cleaning easier. But what was really amazing was how good it cleaned our carpets. My grandkids had made quite a mess of our carpet and I thought it was shot for good, but the SmartWash+ carpet Cleaner saved it! We used the Hoover Clean Plus detergent.

I bought this about 3 months ago, after debating buying another hoover shampooer. I have owned several models, and they always broke. The hose for upholstery attachments always leaks, and it did for this machine too. It leaks from the bottom and gets dirty water on the carpet. So i have to go over it again. This machine is very easy to use, super Light and manageable to move around. It is just like a vacuum. As far as cleaning, its great. I do think the max extract machine is better though, getting stains out. I do go back over and hand scrub the stains remaining..

I've only used it a couple of times and I love it. It's easy to use and you can actually see it working. The drying is almost instant which is great. I have 2 indoor dogs and the expense I was out having it professionally cleaned was ridiculous. I have not only saved money but time as well. Awesome product thanks.

I bought one and my son borrowed it as he as a young pup and has accidents and he was very impressed how it worked that I let him keep that one as we are two hours apart and I bought another one for myself as I have five dogs in the house and I was just as impressed.

I bought this carpet cleaner few weeks ago to DYI the steam cleaning of carpet which otherwise we outsource to 3rd party cleaners. The cleaner does a great job in cleaning the carpet with limited effort and leaves the room clean and smelling fresh. It was my first time on this, so took a while to get all tanks properly fixed. The cleaner is a bit heavier especially if you plan to do multiple rooms in a single day. However, its easy to clean once the liquid detergent and water has been in respective tank.

I purchased this carpet cleaner in February 2020 and stored for six months with clean water in clean water tank. When I returned to use it again six months later, the rubber seal at the bottom of the clean water tank had completely deteriorated and all the associated bottom seal parts were floating in the tank. Very disappointing as I only used the cleaner one time with the factory supplied cleaner.

This is worth it! We washed our rugs just like vacuuming, other carpet cleaners you need to go slow. This one is easy to maintain, the ease of emptying out the dirty water catch makes getting back to cleaning fun. There's an dry cleaning only button. Hoover even included a bag that hangs, a long hose for cleaning stairs or upholstery is also included. They also sent a small cleaning solution but I bought a large one separately so I wouldn't run into the issue of having to stop and run to the store for more. An all around great investment, highly recommend!
