Bought this because of the drying feature but the drying feature does not thrill me. Rug is still saturated after use and takes hours, many hours to dry on its own. They have a dry only feature you can use but it took me another whole extra hour to dry my rug

We cleaned 5 carpeted rooms with our new SmartWash carpet cleaner, and we were so pleased with the results. It did a great job of cleaning and the drying process was amazing. We went over it again with it just on dry, and the carpet was ready to put stuff back on it within an hour of cleaning it. We have cats, and it got up all the stains we were not able to get up by spot cleaning the carpets. We used the free and clear detergent and it worked great on all stains.

My old rug cleaner, not a Hoover, had a part that needed replacing but parts were no longer available so after reading reviews I decided to purchase the Smartwash. My concerns? Only that the front wheels are a little wobbly and concerned they may be a problem in the future. What do I like about the unit? It is pretty lightweight but sturdy; I can carry it upstairs pretty easily. After reading a review with pointers on using it I found it easy to get started cleaning. The unit is pretty easy to clean, a huge plus as SO MUCH dirt and hair was washed from my rugs in spite of a good vacuuming prior. Like my last rug cleaner I don't feel the attachment for cleaning stairs offers enough suction power but is acceptable. Overall I really like the carpet cleaner, the price is right and encourage the purchase to anyone looking for a good product!

I bought this cleaner about a month ago and it works great. It really does take out tough stains and it's awesome how the floor dries so much faster than other cleaners out there. This cleaner is definitely worth the money especially when you get it with the bonus items.

I brought this Hoover about a month ago I liked the 5 easy payment plan The machine is the Best rug shampoo hands down So easy to use and the name is perfect SMART WASH. it's like from the future Just pour the cleaning solution in one tank no measuring and the water in the other tank. I love this product and how clean my carpets got. I would suggest pre-treating the badly spotted and high traffic areas before cleaning. Also this cleaner has a backward dry setting however I would suggest having nothing in the cleaning solution or the clean water compartments and click the dry button towards the top, and once you have completely cleaned the area, do an overall drying of carpet as I explained with empty compartments. Doing so eliminates the water or solutions from continuing to come out on floors and drying is within minutes.

Smartwash automatic carpet cleaner is of great quality and cleans my carpet really well. I have pets and they do make my carpet really dirty and I need to Clean my carpet very frequently. Smart wash carpet cleaner cleans stains quickly and easily and leaves the carpet clean and dry. I highly recommend this as a great buy!!

I bought this about a month ago and I LOVE how it cleans. The double brushes really makes a difference. The only thing I haven't mastered yet is the drying backward mode, when I go forward again to suck up more of the solution it sprays more! I had to empty the water tank to go over it more. Other than that it's great!

This is the first time cleaning our carpets. It worked fantastic. There were some stains that required a bit of hand scrubbing but that is to be expected. I found it best to: 1- Clean the carpet as instructed 2- Go back and rinse and dry carpet 3- Then dry only The 2nd step picked up any cleaning fluid left by the 1st step and we did see additional cleaning. The cleaning fluid left by the 1st step had time to penetrate the carpet better. The 3rd step did a great job removing any additional water. The next time I clean we'll probably just do step 1 since they will have already been cleaned. Also had one of our kitties puke on the carpet a few days later and we pulled out the carpet cleaner and cleaned it right up.

I purchased this to replace a much older model and I am honestly so impressed with this machine. The way it was designed just makes sense beginning with separate water and cleaning solution compartments to how accessible everything is for cleaning up the machine after use.
