As with many other reviews--I bought it in July 2019, worked great the first few times, but now, as other have said--NO SUCTION!! ZERO! The spot where the hose attachment goes--does not seal properly. TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! VERY UNHAPPY!!!! Called the customer service department--lack of response. Emailed--no response. HORRIBLE!

I just bought this carpet cleaner last night, ABSOLUTELY LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, IT!!! It does a fabulous job, extremely easy to use, assemble, & it is very easy to clean the the nozzle & brushes. The price is more reasonable than some of the other carpet cleaners out there especially for the convience of use. I highly recommend this carpet cleaner. Very impressed. Thank You Hoover!!!

This steam vac is super convenient, easy to use and a great buy!! Works just like a vacuum.. Literally put your water, carpet cleaner solution and push.. No pushing buttons to spit out soap or needing to let go of trigger to suck up the wet carpet.. it feels just like a vacuum.. Two thumbs up!!

The vacuum was very easy to put together. I needed to clean some high traffic spaces. This machine revived those areas. The dry only option to just extract water is a major advantage to increase dry time. I was somewhat misled that the carpet would be completely dry or that the machine blew hot air.

This product works really well for a rug scrubber (e.g. not a steam cleaner). I especially love the automatic dry feature when pulling backwards. Cleaner last a long time as well. Make sure you protest really dirty areas with Resolve or similar pre- treat product.

I have an infant, a toddler, a dog, and a husband, so our rugs are routinely covered in spills, mud, dog fur, and various bodily fluids. Gross, I know. I got this carpet cleaner and it was incredibly easy to use and the rugs looked and smelled so much better; even the play room rug! The brush does an amazing job of pulling dog fur out of the rugs. I didn't think there would be much left given that I ran the regular vacuum first, but I could probably knit a brand new dog out of what this machine picked up. It's a little bit gross cleaning off the brush and dumping the filthy rinse water, but in a satisfying kind of way, because at least you know it's no longer in your rugs!

I have used other shampooers but never purchased one. This is the first one I have ever bought and would highly recommend it. Works great and I love how the rollers and parts come apart for cleaning when done. Also, being able to rinse with just clear water after shampooing.

Good machine but difficult to justify the expense. Nowadays most homes are not fully carpeted. Maybe the bedrooms only. The majority of the flooring is usually made up of tile and/or wood. It would be much easier to justify the expense if the unit worked on hard floors as well

Bought it 3 months ago- works as promised. With 2 dogs and a lot of foot traffic plus light colored carpets means it shows dirt well. This carpet cleaner works so much better than the rental units. Our carpets look great, visitors actually notice the difference now. The carpets fell softer and are much drier after cleaning- that never happened with the rental cleaners. Very easy to use, simple and lightweight- easy on your back. Well work the money
