Loving this product. This is a replacement cleaner because my other hoover "ON" button stopped holding. This new machine is so easy to use. No extra spray buttons to hold. forward to clean, back to dry. simple. After use clean up is Amazing. The cover for the brushes just comes off and the wheels/brushes come out for easy rinse and clean up (all that dog hair that the first vaccum didnt get, the cleaner picks up). It also does a great job on cleaning the carpets.

This carpet cleaner is good, but couldn't quite say great. The main advantage of this model is the automatic wash and dry per stroke, which is super convenient. It could be a little quicker in switching between modes, though. It also emits a loud high pitched whine in addition to the usual sound, which tinnitus sufferers will not appreciate. Would recommend hearing protection for anyone using this. It puts down a good amount of soapy water, and cleans well, but the dry function seems less effective than a prior Hoover Spin-Scrub model. After cleaning, remember to remove and rinse both the housing around the brushes, and the brushes (both easily removable), and also remove the lint that collects on the cleaner behind the brushes.

I didn't think I needed my own carpet washer, but after seeing how easy and effective the SmartWash is, it's a new must-have. I usually rent a carpet cleaner from the home improvement store - which is a hassle and the washer usually looks pretty nasty - every year or so. The SmartWash changes all that - I can clean more frequently, and it's easy. The autoclean feature works really well - it automatically throws down the solution when you push forward,then sucks it up when you pull the washer back. Super effective, and it looks like the washer was designed with fast clean up in mind.

I have a been a loyal carpet cleaner for many years. I recently bought the smartwash automative carpet cleaner. The wash mode works but the dry mode not so much. It does not dry the carpet and if you use just the "dry cycle only" to pick up excess water it trips the electric circuit breaker. Looking for a new carpet cleaner.

I have been using this for over a month now and absolutely love it! I have used other carpet cleaners and was shocked at how light weight this one is yet it is still powerful! I have 2 older dogs that tend to make a lot of messes and this machine helps me keep my home clean without a lot of hassle. It's easy to use and easy to clean.

I live in two homes and in my long life I have owned and used more than a handful of different carpet cleaners, including a couple of Hoovers. This one wins. Easy to use, works the best. Just as important, fantastic customer service. Like I said, I've experience with a number of cleaners, and there WILL be problems, though hopefully rarely. Hoover has always been available to troubleshoot and get me cleaning again! If you have a problem, call them. Love Hoover, love this machine.

I love this carpet cleaner !!!! It's the best , so simple to use . Just like vacuuming push forward to wash, drys on the way back . There are no switching buttons it does it all for you . Plus there is a drying feature to cut on drying time . The money you spend one time having them professionally done you can own your own !!

My husband loves this machine. He uses it in his office and on our big room rugs. Since he's taken it over I don't do a thing except keep a supply of the Hoover carpet wash in stock. Easy to fill, operate and clean after every use. Good for coffee spills, doggie accidents and general foot traffic dirty. We'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Have used it 4 years.

I borrowed this carpet cleaner, along with a WindTunnel vacuum, from a friend to do some deep cleaning throughout the house after several months of the whole family experience various illnesses. My carpets have honestly never felt so clean and soft after giving them a good washing with this. I have a husband who works two jobs (manufacturing & fast food), a rambunctious two-year-old, and a cat. Dirt and oils get tracked home, food and drinks get spilled, hair and various gross bodily fluids are inevitable.. However, my carpets look and feel practically brand new now. I'm in love and am wanting to get one of my own so I can do more regular deep cleanings.

My carpets have been brought back to new quality after just two uses of the Smartwash Automatic Carpet cleaner. The set up of the machine is easy, only took me a few minutes. The machine itself is a bit heavy, but is easy to maneuver. It has great reverse suction to help dry carpet, so if you have longer carpet, it won't take too long to dry.
