I just bought and put to the test right out of the box. So I want to tell the engineers who designed this that this is the standard. It's not crazy looking. Everything is practical. It's slim. It works. Don't change anything yet. Improve manufacturing so that this model will stand the test of time at this price range.

Bought this after my previous carpet cleaner had turned into an incontinent mess maker. Initially impressed w how well this unit cleaned. Turned to disappointment after 5th use. Puddle surrounded the unit when I was done. Initially thought maybe dog had tipped over a water bowl. But, after using today, another puddle w no dog bowl in the area. Trying to figure out how to return it, because not willing to put up w a new "leaker"

The new features like being able to open and remove the brushes for cleaning / rinsing is nice. However the wet/dry feature doesn't work well. I purchased this due to the great reviews regarding the dry feature. The drying doesn't work that well and the carpet is still fairly wet. I believe my shopvac has more suction. It would be nice to have some control on areas that require more shampoo. You'll have to pre treat.

This product is great at cleaning up cat stains. Simple and easy to use and clean after use! I love how clearly everything is labeled on the machine, so I don't have to look at the booklet to figure out how to get at different parts, like emptying the dirty water or cleaning the brushes.

I bought this 5 months ago. It had been great until all of a sudden turned it on and it's making a strange noise, the brushes aren't spinning and it won't suck up the dirty water. There's no troubleshooting for this problem although it seems this is a common problem! Expensive machine to have what seems to be an unfixable problem so soon after purchase. Could probably buy a better machine for this price. I'm pretty disappointed.

I love that the machine is very easy to maneuver. However, there's no option to only have the machine disperse water or nothing at all when its pushed forward. So you have to fill the compartment with only water. I did find that I had to empty the compartments more frequently than I had to w/my prior Hoover.

I have used many different carpet cleaners and also own one, but i bought the new smart wash, and wow love it. The easy access of the clean and dirty water containers makes it great also the no mixing of the carpet cleaner, it has a separate cleaner bottle, so it premixes the carpet cleaner for you. The brushes are easy access for removing to clean, which is great. The main thing is it cleans very well.

Had a machine made by another company that was not user friendly. ( Couldn't be completely taken apart for cleaning.? I am very please with the Hoover- super easy to use and does a nice job on carpets. Love the separate clean/ dirty water tanks. Parts are easily taken apart and rinsed post use, which is important to me.

I bought this about 2 months ago and absolutely love it. I have 3 dogs, one is blind and not real good about hitting the pads. I can grab this and it's ready to go, no mixing the cleaner, no wasting the cleaner. Carpet dries much faster than any other unit I have had. It's like vacuuming... Highly recommend.

Purchased about a month ago. I adopted a 2 year old dog that is t quite house trained yet. She's busted a gut in a few places. My carpet is old, 20+ years, and will be replaced after my dog is fully trained. In the meantime, the Hoover does a great job. The carpet will never look new but it looks a lot better than it did before. I replaced a super old Bissell. I do think the solution is a little too foamy. I do wish that you could "wash" first with out the reverse suction. The "dry only" is nice. Now if they just had a "wash only".
