[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have three rescue Goldens: one young, active, skittish; one older with a long history of anxiety; and our oldest who's very scared of thunder and loud noises. We do a variety of things with our dogs already to address their needs: training, doggy oils, etc. But now that our neighborhood is again busy with loud people, UTVs, storms, etc. they need more, and the Calming Bites seems to take the edge off. Only reason for the four stars is it does seems subtle, but still noticeable. Will definitely keeps these on hand to support our Goldens!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been giving my 60lb dog 2 of these treats each evening and I have definitely noticed a calming effect where she is normally extremely hyper. I don't think it would be strong enough to keep her calm during fireworks or other stressful events but they do help her relax in general. My dog also thinks they taste great and is excited for them each night so that is a bonus!

I thought because he's older he would stop but he hasn't so I've tried many calming treats. These work the best. He's still a little excited but nothing like he is without them. Sometimes he's so relaxed he will go to sleep.

I have a 2 year old corgi who has no stop button and always being a goofball. The only time she slows down is when we have storms. Storms make her shake bark and get physically ill. The dr has given her meds but they do not work and seem to make her more hyper and aware that we are having storms. We had a few days where we had some big storms roll thru and decided this was a great time to try these little bites out. The package recommended 2 bites for her weight. The first day I gave her 1 she it didn't really do anything. The needy day i did the recommended amount and it was a game changer. She had very little anxiety. She didn't bark or shake. She was very calm and didn't even realize it was thundering. The bites let her sleep during the night time storms. By the 3rd day of giving her 2 bites she was very calm. I will say the next day she was groggy for a few hours after getting up, but she was right back to her fluffy googball self after breakfast. I will be using these from now on top help with storms. I'm hopeful they will work just as good come 4th of July as the fireworks are another trigger for her

I find that after about an hour of giving her a calming bite, I see a bit of a difference. It helps take the edge off and helps her to unwind without making her drowsy or lethargic.

As you can see in the video, my dog Frank absolutely loves these Zesty Paws Calming Plus Bites. The soft texture and the flavor seem to be his favorite! For me, I love the calming effect that they create for him! Frank is a precocious, 2yr old, 90lb, pitbull mix, with anxiety. By giving him the recommended dosage per his weight, once a day, as needed, he becomes much more calmer in stressful situations. I will definitely be recommending this product to all of my dog-owning friends and family!

Moments of silence. We also use the multi vitamins for our senior French, and they work great too. Side note- I was given a free package of calming bites for my participation.
