[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Zesty Paws for the free product. I have a 9 year old Mini Schnauzer that is still high energy and difficult to calm. The instructions recommended only feeding a half dose to begin. The texture of each bite is very soft and so I found them difficult to break in half as they would crumble in my hand. The bottom of the bag has a lot of crumbs. I think the package should be more sturdy. Taste wise my dog loved them and ate them without any hesitation. I did feed in the evening, which is when we go on our walk and it's when I need him to be calm and less stimulated. To be honest, I have a hard time telling if they are having the full intended effect. He seems more hazy than usual and a little more oblivious. He doesn't go to sleep either. He will lay but his eyes will be wide open. There was so no bad reaction, so I think I'll keep feeding for a few more weeks. I think they're good for car rides. He's still conscious but is more willing to lay down and stay in his car seat. Still cries and is nervous too.

This calming chew won't replace normal behavioral corrections, but it can help owners feel more confident in their training efforts. While I didn't observe a dramatic change in my dog's demeanor, the chew seemed to create a slightly calmer atmosphere. This subtle shift allowed me to approach training with a more relaxed attitude, which ultimately benefited both me and my dog. I obviously can't personally comment on the turkey flavor, but judging by how quickly my dog scarfed it down, getting her to take her calming chews won't be a challenge.

I give him 2 of these (per his weight and package recommendations) and he chilllllllssss out. It's so nice for if we have people coming over or taking a road trip. These are amazing and easy on his tummy and he loves them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was asked to try Zesty Paws calming treats in exchange for my honest review. I have a 2 year old corgi who has no stop button and always being a goofball. The only time she slows down is when we have storms. Storms make her shake bark and get physically ill. The dr has given her meds but they do not work and seem to make her more hyper and aware that we are having storms. We had a few days where we had some big storms roll thru and decided this was a great time to try these little bites out. The package recommended 2 bites for her weight. The first day I gave her 1 she it didn't really do anything. The needy day i did the recommended amount and it was a game changer. She had very little anxiety. She didn't bark or shake. She was very calm and didn't even realize it was thundering. The bites let her sleep during the night time storms. By the 3rd day of giving her 2 bites she was very calm. I will say the next day she was groggy for a few hours after getting up, but she was right back to her fluffy googball self after breakfast. I will be using these from now on top help with storms. I'm hopeful they will work just as good come 4th of July as the fireworks are another trigger for her

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy these treats for my dog, who is 13 years old. They are very soft, and I give him one each day per the weight limit. Before I started giving them to him, I had my vet sister-in-law check to ensure they were safe for him to eat and wont have any adverse effects on his current meds. I believe these treats help him sleep better and reduce his anxiety, especially since he has cataracts and experiences seizures. However, I wish they were a bit firmer because I expect the end of the bag will contain only small chunks.

I feed my girl her calming treats sporadically throughout the day. She has horrible separation anxiety, even just a short trip to the mailbox sets her off. She absolutely loves her turkey flavored treats and gobbls them right up with no digestive issues. I tried getting her the peanut butter ones but she absolutely will not eat them. I don't think they smell appealing either, they don't even smell like peanut butter. Pick there flavor your dog will eat and get ready for calmer days!

Tried these as a last resort before a trip to the vet to get something to help with 4th of July and New Year's fireworks. We have a BMD who would pant, shake and pace and it's getting worse as she gets older. I followed the directions EXACTLY (work up to whole dose, start a couple days in advance) and during the fireworks explosions, she was in no distress! SO grateful we found and tried these...THANK YOU!!!

She adored the treats, super tasty, but didn't really have any effect on her energy level. That's okay for us, just don't buy expecting a miracle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own a Belgian Malinois, which is probably one of the most high strung breeds on the face of the earth, to say that I was skeptical is an understatement. I have been giving these treats to my good boy for 2 weeks, I thought surely there was no way that 2 tiny little treats would have any effect on him whatsoever. I have been pleasantly surprised! 2 treats and he will stop his normal chaos and chill for a bit. The treats don't knock him out, just seems to level him out for a bit. *I received a sample of this product free of charge for an honest review.
