I love this Kettle! I just got it yesterday and it boils water so quickly and there’s not a lot of noise! I like the like going one when it’s boils water, the light turns off when the water is boiled. The appliance won’t turn on unless there’s water in it, which I like. It’s a keeper. Much better that heating in my Keurig!

The kettle comes with the option to make tea in it. It comes with a diffuser that you must detach if you don’t want to make tea. I need it as a hot water kettle, not a tea maker. It was a little difficult to detach the tea diffuser, but I was able to do it and will use my kettle for hot water. Also, I’d rather have a button, or so, to open the top of the kettle, but it is a manual pull off. But so far it has worked well for me.

The Chefman Fast-Boil 1.8L Electric Kettle with Tea Infuser heats up quickly and is great for making tea thanks to the built-in infuser and simple design. It's a good value for the price, though it feels a bit lightweight and not the most durable over time.

The concept is good, but the design is very, very poor! I would actually give a zero, if it was an option. First of all, the pot is not submersible in water, so it is very awkward/hard to clean. The pot, itself, is in three sections. Bottom, (metal w a plastic exterior that has electronic components), middle (glass) and top (plastic). The metal bottom discolors after use, apparently from the heating element. Hard to clean and remove all the discoloration. The seal between the glass carafe %26 the top, is either poor or non-existent. It leaks water/tea when pouring. Runs down the front %26 spills everywhere. Where the inside of the glass meets the top, there is a lip on the inside %26 the water/tea never completely empties, because it sits on this lip. Even when turned upside down. I purchased because it had such a high rating, but don't let that fool you. Again, a good concept, but very poor design. Take it back to the drawing board and I might reconsider my score, until then, I am a ZERO on this product!!

Heats water up extremely fast but the only issue with the kettle is that the plastic has a lip inside of the kettle, preventing the last drops of water to drain out. You have to physically dry the kettle with a towel if you don't want left over water inside, vs. just letting it air dry.

It leaks and spills around the top part of the glass when I'm pouring my drink. Chefman products are cheap and do not work properly. I would recommend spending more money on another brand so you don't have to worry about it breaking.

This is exactly what i have been wanting and needing. It is perfect for my small space and is versatile for different types of brewing. I really appreciate that it shuts off automatically.

FYI - the model # on my electric kettle wasn’t listed. My model # is RJ11-18-PL-TI-DS The cleaning was easy. Tomorrow will be my first time using it!

So far this product seems great . I have only used it for several times. I love it. I love the look, how fast it boils water, and the lights! Now let's see how long it will perform.

We bought the Electric kettle and the kettle was so quick to heat up the water. We prepared tea using kettle which came up really well. Thanks Chefman for this kettle
