Buyer beware it works well for a while and then the seal giveso out at the top where the glass connects to plastic. Mine started leaking at that connection recently. I will be getting something else before I get burned. I have had it for about a year and 3 months.

Around the base of the upper rim of the kettle it leaks water when you pour.
