Amazing tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got it set up and going and played some ps5 pro games and watched a movie. I have to say the brightness is amazing the refresh rate is breathtaking and the price was great. When I picked it up, I looked at the display model which was right next to some oled and I have to say for the price this television kicks some butt.

so far so good, no hdmi cord though
So far we like the new tv. Prefer google tv over any other OS. Nice picture and sound, and no problem with shipping. We got the tv from sam's, mainly because of the upgraded 3 year warranty instead of 1 year. It was supposed to come with a free hdmi cord, but it was missing for us, just so people know in case they are counting on that. So far so good, about one week in. If any problems, we'll update this review to match.

Big Tech Features on a Budget
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased in June 2025, this is by far the best TV I've ever owned and at a great price. Beautiful picture, crisp rich color, deep blacks, bright whites, phenomenal contrast. I saw Caleb of Digital Trends/Caleb Rated recommend it and saw the price had dropped. Well I'm so glad I bought it. The built-in Onkyo 2.1 speakers are more than enough for home streamers. I have a Sony Dolby Atmos Reciever and I swear it sounds better than it ever did. The remote is great with backlight, easy voice commands. Lots of apps to choose from, Antenna channels look unbelievable so much that I dropped YouTube TV. Best bang for the buck all the high end features in an affordable obtainable package and you save it not needing a soundbar. Yes adding one will enhance the soundstage but out of the box this TV has so much going for it. Dont get the less expensive QM5K or more expensive versions this QM6K is the perfect balance between cost vs features.

Excellent Product!

Disappointed in service
Great picture. But absolutely no help in trying to figure out how to operate this TV. Little pamphlet included only has three pages of information which is basically worthless. also bought 250 inch TCL TVs, but may return them if there's no help and how to operate it.

Customer support failed
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Voice setup with remote failed. Customer support failed with chat and to talk with rep. optical connection is only for output so can't connect to old player with no HDMI. HDMI inputs are on the wrong side of TV. service support failed.
Disappointing and support is not easily accessible
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Television completely dead after just six months and it seems impossible to reach a live person at TCL. Before it died, The picture was pretty good but it's always seemed underpowered and sluggish at times.

After hours of research I decided that this was definitely going to be the TV that we would purchase for this Christmas. I ordered on cyber Monday and received it on Wednesday. Physically flawless out of the box. Every thing was perfectly set up and it was found to be dead as a door nail when turned on. I tried to think it wasn't so but it was. I troublshooted everything because I knew how but then when that didn't work I officially called TCL and ran back through their same troubleshooting procedures and their only suggestion was to return it to the store. So Sams Club gets a one star rating because after explaining the situation to their representative he told me I would get a call within 48 hours from the carrier to get the TV returned and of course I didn't get a call. So I had to load the TV into the SUV and return it to the store. Now that the television is back in stock they won't call to let me know so that we can now get a replacement at the $498 price we paid for it originally. I'm sure TCL will reply about how they strive to make the best televisions in the market but they obviously don't test every television when they flood the market with their products.

Major Picture Issues
This set would lose picture for several seconds, but the audio would still work. Happened every couple of minutes, and it did this on all inputs and with different cables. Couldn't get the HDMI ARC to work with our sound bar at all, never had an issue with our old Samsung or Vizio sets. Local dimming was strobing on some scenes, making it impossible to watch. Game mode turned the colors a weird neon and messed up the tint. Most of these issues would correct themselves after a power cycle or two, but they were too much for a brand new set. Had to return it. Probably my first and last TCL product.
