Avoid the "dust busting strips"!

These are the worst Swiffer dusters I have ever used. Those "dust busting strips" prevent the fluffy blue stuff from fluffing out! The fluffy blue stuff collects a whole lot more dust than those "dust busting strips".

We appreciate you providing us with this feedback, but this is definitely not the type of experience we want you to go through. For best results, fluff the duster before inserting it on the handle. Hold both ends of the duster and quickly move your hands up & down in a see-saw motion (alternating up & down). You may also pull at the fibers to further fluff them. The more fluffed the fibers, the better cleaning results you will get. If you are using regular Swiffer Dusters, try Swiffer Dusters Heavy Duty which feature 360 degrees of fibers. New design, poor outcome

I have been using these dusters for years and find they work very well, until now. This updated version is really poor. It takes work to fluff the pad to get the tabs out and free to collect dust. You have to pull them apart by hand, they do not shake appart. The inner layer falls apart and gets snagged on the things I am dusting. They have about half the dusting surface area on the good side and with the old ones you could flip it over and use the back, but not with these there is hardly and dusting surface on the back. I will look for a generic that has the old style duster head.
