My Shih Tzu puppy is a very fussy eater...we tried several types of moist food to combine with his dry food.Despite much cajoling, he would finally eat just the dry and let his "brother" eat the moist. NOW, he comes over as soon as I put the dish down and eats everything! So glad I tried FreshPet!!

My dog Chocolate’s favorite meal before she got sick with kidney and heart disease. She would only eat through a syringe in the past couple of years. She stopped wanting to get fed the K-D diet food. We worried if she would eat on her own again. The Past 3 weeks she has been eating on her own the fresh pet small dog chicken that was meant for our other dog Speedy. We recently found out our little 10 year old chihuahua Bella has congestive heart failure, an enlarged heart, and a bad murmur. She’s always had a sensitive stomach since we adopted her, and couldn’t hold down many treats or anything. Since getting sick my small 6 pound girl has lost a pound. I’ve been in a panic trying to figure out what to do for her to get her to eat. We had already switched to a highly rated dry food but it wasn’t cutting it anymore. My oldest Chihuahua loves this dog food and the other two were trying to get it from him. He hardly has any teeth left and he loves it and so do the other two. They also have their dry food but when I come home from work, they are all anxiously waiting for their dinner. I just wish it came in a bigger size bag.

He was so finicky...absolutely wouldn't eat kibble and most canned food! He wouldn't eat all day...tried canned food....he'd take one bite and walk away. I tried Freshpet Select Chicken and now he gobbles it up and looks happy to eat! His digestive issues are gone...goes potty regularly every time I take him out. My 18 yr old baby loves this. She sometimes has tummy issues with other brands of dog food, but not this one. She is a mix of Shiba Inu and Fox Terrier. Most days you wouldn't even know she's 18. Thank you for making this product.

My yorkie-poo is just under 5lbs. She has a very small & sensitive stomach. We have a 3 year old Morkie! We've tried several options, both dry and wet for food, and everything turned him off. He wouldn't get excited to eat, he was far from interested, and he'd even go days without touching his food! Finally it clicked to try Freshpet, and it's been a year and he's STILL obsessed! I find the small breed dog food to be spot on he is very perky eating this food he's 17 years old he's a long-haired Chihuahua pomeranian mix and he starts to you know running around you think he was a little puppy you'd never think he was that age and believe it or not he's got to play with a nugget beforehand they're slap it around and jump and run and gets all excited and then he settles down and starts eating half of it you know we probably didn't want to hear but I really do believe that it's from the food and plays a big part of it I recommend it to anyone and you buy it you feed it to your pet and I guarantee you you will be more than satisfied

We have been buying this for a few months now and our little girl just loves it and she's pretty picky LOL I love that it's all fresh ingredients and in fact it smells good enough to eat honestly we won't feed her anything else because we believe that this is the healthiest choice for her she's almost five so taking care of her health is very important thank you so much for coming out with this product
