This is a super toy for those little daredevils who are very active. My son (the little daredevil) was 20 months old when we gave him this and he loves it. Within the first hour he was launching himself, riding down with his hands in the air, woo-hooing, then pushing the car back up the ramp by himself to do it all over again. It tires him out so he sleeps great at night!The only suggestion I would have is that maybe the "railing" around the top could be taller because my son likes to climb up to the top and roll his cars down the grooves that the wheels ride in. When he's standing up on that top platform the sides are very short and offer no support to keep him from going over the edge. I know it wasn't designed for children to do this so I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that he has a tendancy to do this and it would be safer if the rails were higher.Used properly, it is very safe, durable, and loads of fun. Worth every penny!

This is the second one given in our family. It was used for the first time just the other day and one of the wheels keeps falling apart. We are going to need a replacement for it, the present one may have a flaw. The children do enjoy the coaster though. Please let me know how to get a replacement of the wheel in question since this is brand new. Thank you.

I'm a Step2 Ambassador and was given the opportunity to review the Extreme Coaster. This is the COOLEST toy ever and by far my 4 year old's most favorite Step2 toy of all time! He can push the little car up the ramp by himself and launch himself off the ramp. Repeat, for like an hour. "AGAIN" he'd shout! I've seen the Extreme Coaster online, but the photos do not do it justice on how FUN it is. This is the kind of toy that he won't easily get bored of and huge bonus points for the coaster providing him an energy outlet because he has TONS of it.

We bought this coaster as a birthday gift for our soon-to-be-2 son. Once the product arrived, we put it together right away (about 2 weeks before his birthday). He loves it. So does his big sister (almost 3). Our son is 36" & weighs 32 lbs. Our daughter is 34" & weighs 26 lbs. They both ride without helmet under close supervision. We have a huge backyard with grass. One at a time, they push their car up, climb aboard, & mom or dad gives the car a slight push to start the fun. Their little faces light up with excitement as they zoom down the coaster & across the yard. They then travel another 20 feet beyond the coaster. Then, they happily push their car back onto & up the tracks for another thrilling ride.It would be even more fun if the coaster came with 2 cars. Also, it would be nice if the holes were pre-drilled.All & all, fun product, albeight overpriced.

I BELIEVE ONE OF STEP 2 BEST PRODUCTS THEY MAKE. THE KIDS DO NOT GET BORED WITH THIS ONE AT ALL. WHEN THE NEIGHBORS ARE OVER THERE IS A LINE TO PLAY ON THIS. IT IS SO STRONG I AM 35 YEARS OLD AND WEIGHT 190 AND IT HOLDS ME. THE ONLY THING I DO NOT LIKE THE STICKERS PEEL OFF TO EASY

We gave this to my daughter for her 2nd birthday. She loves it and so do all her little friends. The little boy across the street cries when he has to go home. What is so great about it...is that my 2 year old can do it all by herself. She walks the coater up the ramp and pushes herself down. I totally recommend this to anyone who has kids 2-4 years old.

My kids absolutely Love this coaster, however after less then a year and a half, the steps are beginning to crack. My heaviest child is 46 pounds so we’re NO where near the weight limit. I am so disappointed that such an expensive toy has lasted short time. I know the kids will be heartbroken to see it go when the time comes, but I won’t be repurchasing a toy that doesn’t seem to hold up with normal wear.

I got this for my daughter's third Birthday and she absolutely loves it. I love it for all the exercise she gets using it! I store it on a covered porch so that it doesn't kill the lawn...it moves very easily to and from the porch! The only thing wrong with mine which was a very minor thing...it was missing one of the step too emblems on the side! Other than that PERFECT!!

We have the Extreme Coaster in our carpeted basement. It goes FAST!!! Not for the weak or children under 18 mos, maybe even a little older. We pad the wall opposite the coaster with sofa cusions to break the stop. My children (5 and 2) LOVE this toy. They are thrill seekers and are enthralled with this ride. I wouldn't change a thing.

I bought this for my 2 year old and he loves it. He plays for hours and works up a sweat!! I thought it would be a little old for him but he figured it out on his second try and now hes Mr. Independent. Great investment! My husband who weights 145# even rides it every once in a while to make the kids laugh and it holds him.
