Great present for my 2 year old!

We love this product just have to somehow keep my son from climbing up on it without our supervision. It is easy for him to push the car up himself, but the platform at the top is not wide enough for him to climb into the cart easily which in turn makes it easier for him to topple over onto the ground below. Ridiculous Fun

The little car sits in a very stable track at the top of the platform, and runs way beyond where the tracks end so plan on it. Parents were startled at how quickly their 3 year old took to this toy - no learning at all. One ride down the ramp, and that car was on it's way back up. Just for safety sake, I'd have them wear a helmet, but you'd have to get pretty silly to fall off of this thing. I haven't heard laughs like that out of that child before - GREAT hit.

AWESOME GIFT

I PURCHASED THIS FOR OUR GRANDSON'S 3RD BIRTHDAY AND IT IS AWESOME. HIS DAD PUT IT TOGETHER IN 10 MINUTES AND AT FIRST HE WAS SCARED BUT THEN HIS 4 YR. OLD COUSIN ARRIVED AND THEY WERE FIGHTING OVER WHO WAS NEXT. HE WOULD LOOK TO MAKE SURE ALL THE NEIGHBORS WERE WATCHING AND THEN HE WOULD SAY READY-SET-GO AND SMILE FROM EAR TO EAR. THIS WAS AN IDEAL GIFT FOR THIS AGE. EACH DAY THEY ARE STILL USING IT AND HAVE NOT GROWN TIRED OF IT. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS YOUNG CHILDREN.

The Most AWESOME Birthday Present Ever!

We bought this for our two boys birthdays which are close together. They are three and four years old. There is an Extreme Coaster at a local indoor playground that is one of the most popular pieces of equipment there so I wanted to get one for our boys. I love the well thought out engineering that makes the car travel down the rails safely while steps allow the kids to push the car back into place and divets at the top hold the car in place as a child climbs into it. This engineering allows kids to operate the roller coaster without adult help (total bonus for parents), although some supervision is required to prevent kids from standing or walking in the path of the moving car. My husband and I put this together and it took us almost exactly an hour. You do need to have your own tools on hand, specifically a screw driver (electric screwdriver highly recommended), a ratchet, and a wrench. It would be very hard to put together without these three tools. The roller coaster arrived in three separate boxes and each piece (about 9 total) is quite light weight. If put together according to the instructions, it's quite sturdy. My boys absolutely love this. It totally rocks! And the best part is that it totally wears my kids out. We have a large back yard with a gentle slope and we placed the ramp at the top of the slope so each run goes quite a long way, probably 45 to 50 feet. Whichever kid is watching the other ride loves to run after the car as it rolls across our yard and then they run while pushing the car back across the yard and up the ramp. Awesome way to have fun and expend all that excess energy without requiring parents to expend any!

Kids Love It

My five year old and three year old twins love the extreme coaster. They could play on it for hours but someone has to be with them when they ride it to make sure they don't get in front of the car when watching. I was surprised at how far the car actually goes. It is a great toy to teach them how to take turns.

Great Toy!!

I bought this for my daughter when she was 2 years old to help her with physical therapy. She now 8 years old and her sister and cousins all still LOVE this toy!! I recommend this for all kids no matter what their physical ability may be, they'll love it. Building it was really easy and I tried it out myself one time (me being 120lbs and its fun.) I'm just in need of a replacement part for it now.

Great toy but awful to put together

My Husband had to spend 2 hours drilling holes because there were none where they should have been. Then when we tried to move it it fell apart. He has now spend over an hour trying to fix it. Much longer and we will be returning it. The toy is great and my kids love it at their friends house but I wouldn't have bought it if I knew he would have to work on it for hours on end.

The kids love it!

The 3 y/o took some time to get acquainted with it and simply climbed the steps and ran the empty cart up and down for a while. Once he started to ride it however, we couldn't get him off. Every launch for this little guy required hands-on adult supervision because he 1) tried to get in the cart before it was secured at the top 2) he eventually wanted to ride on his stomach, face first and 3) he decided that he liked it backwards. Because of the weight distribution, it tends to go a bit faster. Therefore, we kept a hand on it until it was part of the way down the track. We've made a rule that he cannot get in the cart (even on the ground) unless he's wearing his helmet. However, since 3 y/o's aren't known for common sense, the cart is to be secured any time that there is no adult in the yard.Other than the need for intense supervision, this toy is great. The birthday boy loved it and I'm sure that his cousins will when they visit. It appears that is will be age appropriate for a few years and will get a lot of use, which was our hope when we selected it.

Great toy, loads of fun

My two and six year old love it. My ten year old is almost too big for it but had fun the couple of times he went down. The two year old loves to climb up to the top without the car and roll balls or matchbox cars down the grooves where the wheels of the car go. Seems to be durable. The only downfall is the bright colors and is difficult to move around.
