If you're having reservations about purchasing this product, DON'T.This beauty is the absolute best toy I've purchased over the past 10 years, and trust me, I'm a certified 'toy-a-holic'. Our house looks like a Toys R Us warehouse, but this Extreme Coaster takes pride of place. It was purchased for my 2 year old, but the 9 year old and 12 year old have had just as much fun (and I've had to put a ban on the bigger teenagers in the neighborhood from monopolizing it's use.)The steps going up the coaster make 'reloading' the little car easy for the kids and subsequently cuts down on parental input. The speed generated by the slope is impressive, and the squeals of joy eminating from the coaster are as loud as any I've ever heard from the boys, and that includes a recent vacation to Disney World.Sure, it's expensive, but the sturdiness and build-quality are superb, and the hours of fun it's brought to our house have made it worth every penny. So if you're having reservations about clicking that BUY button, don't. Trust me, you'll be thanking me later!!

I bought this for my grandsons who just turned three in april. They love it! They cannot get enough of it. The children in the neighborhood also agree that this is one of the best toys on the block. I recommend Step2 to all my grandparent friends, as I feel this is the best product, the safest and most durable product that I can get for my money. I can't wait to get the latest catolog to see what's new. I purchased the choo-choo wagon for the triplets when they turned 1 and not only has it held up well over the last two years, but I get a lot of comments from complete strangers on how cute they look in this unusual but practical "wagon". I ordered the product after reading several reviews that its was good for older and younger children. That was very important since my grandchildren range in age from 9 months to 7 years. We ordered it for Christmas and set it up in the hallway Christmas day. That was not enough room, and after returning from a family dinner it was carried outside. The children had a blast!!! But it was so cold, we could not let them stay out long; we had to make them come into the house. We have a little bit of a hill which really gives them a long ride. They get a lot of exercise since they have to walk back to ride again. I like anything that is safe and gets them outside, and active. Great product step 2!!!

The extreme coaster is a big hit with my daughter (3) and her cousins (4 and 6). They spend hours playing on it. Since it has perfectly sized stairs and the car is pretty light weight they are able to push the car to the top by themselves. This tends to wear the kids out which is good.

We got this for my daughter's third birthday. She loves it and wants to play with it every day. It wasn't difficult to put together but it helps to have two people including one who is strong to put the screws through the plastic. Took under an hour for my husband and I to assemble but I thought that was reasonable. To me the best part about this product is the built-in steps up the ramp. I love that my daughter can walk the cart up the steps, get in, and push herself down. She needs no help at all. I would definitely recommend this product.

My 13 year old son put it together by himself, not hard. Use a electric drill not a screwdriver. lay out all parts and study directions first. Directions could be more detailed. We watched u-tube video on assembly of this prior to assembly. My kids 9, 6 and 3 years ride it over and over for hours at a time. Good quality, I keep it outside all summer and in the garage for the winter. Do not plan on taking it apart once together. Would like if they sold the car separate so we could buy another.

The grandchildren just love this. This coaster if very safe and durable.It is also a good work out for the children. They slide down in the car and then walk the car back to the top so that we can push them down again.I highly recommend this for something different to do.

My Husband and I got this for our Grandson for Christmas.Needless to say it was the hit of our Christmas Eve.We sat it up in the hallway and all of the kids took turns.My Husband had to sat at the end of the hall to catch them. We bought this for our two young boys (4 and 2.5) and they both absolutely LOVE IT! No problem for the 4yr old but the 2.5yr old needs a little help. Only downside is that is is extremely difficult to assemble - took me several hours. Other than that, it's great and I'd highly recommend it for folks with young kiddos.
