This is a super toy for those little daredevils who are very active. My son (the little daredevil) was 20 months old when we gave him this and he loves it. Within the first hour he was launching himself, riding down with his hands in the air, woo-hooing, then pushing the car back up the ramp by himself to do it all over again. It tires him out so he sleeps great at night!The only suggestion I would have is that maybe the "railing" around the top could be taller because my son likes to climb up to the top and roll his cars down the grooves that the wheels ride in. When he's standing up on that top platform the sides are very short and offer no support to keep him from going over the edge. I know it wasn't designed for children to do this so I'm not complaining, I'm just saying that he has a tendancy to do this and it would be safer if the rails were higher.Used properly, it is very safe, durable, and loads of fun. Worth every penny!

The shipping costs were a great bargain! Still can't believe I paid so little to ship such a large item! I love the extreme roller coaster! Haven't had it long enough to rate its weather resistance and sturdiness over time! Was very pleased with timeliness of shipping and my husband said it wasn't too difficult to assemble !

My oldest son (3) loves this toy and I wish adults could ride it. It does require space, but luckily we have a big back yard and a long drive way. My husband attached a rope so my son could pull the car back to the ramp. In the driveway it was easy for him to push back to the ramp, but in the yard it was more difficult for him, so we attached a rope.

I PURCHASED THIS FOR OUR GRANDSON'S 3RD BIRTHDAY AND IT IS AWESOME. HIS DAD PUT IT TOGETHER IN 10 MINUTES AND AT FIRST HE WAS SCARED BUT THEN HIS 4 YR. OLD COUSIN ARRIVED AND THEY WERE FIGHTING OVER WHO WAS NEXT. HE WOULD LOOK TO MAKE SURE ALL THE NEIGHBORS WERE WATCHING AND THEN HE WOULD SAY READY-SET-GO AND SMILE FROM EAR TO EAR. THIS WAS AN IDEAL GIFT FOR THIS AGE. EACH DAY THEY ARE STILL USING IT AND HAVE NOT GROWN TIRED OF IT. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO HAS YOUNG CHILDREN.

We bought this for our 1.5 year old.He was able to safely ride it all by himself right away. By the time he was 2 he could safely climb up the ramp all by himself.He plays on this for hours.He has many cousins ranging in ages from 2 to 10 years old and some of them have special needs, all of these kids are able to play on this toy and have fun.It is built sturdy and we havent had any problems.I would highly reccomend this toy!!It might cost a little more but your child will be able to use it for many years.I love that it keeps children active.We have ours set up on the grass and it goes far and fast, I think it would go even faster on the driveway when our son is older.I LOVE every Step 2 toy we have, everything is made to last for many years.We have no complaints about this toy.

We haven't given this to the kids yet, its a gift from Santa, but we did assemble it once it arrived to make sure we are ready for Christmas morning. It went up in about 10 minutes, was really easy to assemble, looks sturdy and LOTS of fun :) We can't wait to see how they like it. Easy ordering[...]

Given to 26 month old son as a gift from Granny.Assembly-- definitely the easiest of the three Step 2 products I've assembled (Kangaroo Climber and Clubhouse Climber). All of the pieces and steps are very straight forward and attachment points are easily accessible. As with all Step 2 products I've dealt with, drilling small pilot holes for all of the screws will make the process much less frustrating.Placement- we have ours going down onto thin grass on hard packed soil and the cart goes 20-30 feet past the end of the ramp with a 27 lb occupant. Be sure you set up with enough room ahead.Play- My son (2 yrs 2 mos) was ready to start climbing before I even finished assembly. For his first trip down the track, I held onto the back. The second trip he was hesitant, but then , by the third trip, he was pushing the car up the track himself and climbing in. There is a small groove at the top that keeps the cart in place for the child to load in, and he's still a little too small to be able to push out of that dip to get started. Otherwise, he could go through the whole process by himself.Sturdiness- the only kid that has played with it weighs about 27 lbs, but nothing about the construction worries me. There are a lot of drain holes, which I like.The toy is not cheap, but just judging by the fun he had on the first evening, I'm sure we're going to get Granny's money's worth out of it.Suggestions for Step 2: Make an adult version.

Got this for my daughter's 5th birthday. She LOVES it! All the kids had a great time with it at her party! Worth every penny! A few other parents even asked where I ordered it so they can get it for their children! Make sure you put this on level grassy ground with plenty of room in front! No hills, way too fast!

my son loves it we put it in the bassement ( carpet) works great this winter he is going to enjoy i like it a lot because is perfect size not too small and not to big to fit in the bassement. is important to checke when you are assembleling some holes you have to nake then i was hard work recomend to have power tool for a faster and easy asamble

Purchased as gift for my grandchildren. The direct shipping was fabulous...it arrived in perfect shape...sooner than I could have picked it up from a store! The children LOVE it...and the "racetrack" seems to be a big hit with the grandson for matchbox car races as well. All in all...it might be their "favorite" Nana gift ever!
