My Husband and I bought this for our son's 4th birthday, and he hasn't stopped raving about it yet. Every morning he asks, "CAN I GO RIDE MY COASTER????? PLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE"! The assembly is a little difficult considering there weren't any written instructions, but my husband has a lot of experience building things so it didn't take him long. We purchased it through the step2 website and it arrived within the week. The speedy delivery was great and the product is hands down amazing. I can't wait to furnish our yard with more step2 products!! Thanks for making such an amazing toy! It is sure to provide years of fun!

We bought the Extreme Coaster for our grandchildren (ages 5, 3 and 2) and they absolutely love it! Even the adults in the family wish they could ride on it. It's set up indoors now (due to winter weather) but they plan to move it outside when it warms up. I especially like how safe and sturdy it is so the grandkids will get plenty of use out of it. And just watching their faces and hearing their giggles has been well worth purchasing this for them!

This product was purchased to help my 3 year old son with a developmental delay in gross motor skills, particularly climbing stairs and balance. This toy is PERFECT for him to work on improving his skills without focusing on how hard it is for him to master. Our county reimbursed me for the purchase, since he was part of the county program to help him with his delay. My daughter, who is 5, also loves this toy.

We gave the Extreme Coaster to our grandchildren for Christmas. It has been a huge success. Our grandson age 4 uses it independently; grandson age 2 needs a little help; grandaughter age 1 of course needs supervision, but can't get enough. At a recent birthday party, the Extreme Coaster was enjoyed by kids ages 1 to 9. A great investemnt of our money. Does require a large, fairly flat area.

My children have loved playing on the extreme coaster! It wasn't necessarily difficult to put together, but it was time consuming. My children are 4 & 6, and they have had so much fun going down the coaster over and over! I would definitely recommend it to others!

This was the best birthday present for my two year old granddaughter. Her parents had her party at our house and we set up the coaster in a bedroom so it would go down the hallway and through the living room! All the kids loved it! There were lots of squeals and smiles but no fights! Our two year old granddaughter now says "hands up" and tries "eyes closed" when riding her coaster! It is great!!(How bout a bigger model for the older kids??)

I got this for my 3 kids ages 2 (Boy), 3 (Boy), and 4 (Girl)years old for Christmas 2008. It is a big hit! We did have it inside the house for a couple of days but it was getting a little dangerous at times. It is perfect for outside. All of my children just love it and tell everyone how they just love it so much and it was the best gift they got. My husband had not trouble putting it together, either. Thank you Step 2 for having this product.

My 2 year old grandson loves this coaster! Was led to believe it would be hard to build, but his parents didn't haveany problem. It is great to hear him shriek with glee and see him ride it over and over. A bit expensive, but seeing how much he enjoys it, that's okay!

Bought as Christmas gift for grandchildren. They were kept busy inside with other gifts while Extreme Coaster was assembled in the backyard. Secured their bike helmets on their heads and took them outside. "Awesome!", was exclaimed in unison as they rushed to it, where they have since continued to play, virtually non-stop, despite this year's unusually cold temperatures. They have told all their friends about the roller coaster in their backyard, and invited them over to ride. They absolutely love "him", and have named him "Speedy". One evening, my daughter arrived home with our grandchildren and went to retrieve the mail at the same time the neighbor across the street went to retrieve theirs. The grandchildren rushed over, and the neighbor was excitedly told about about their roller coaster, and invited for a ride. Our daughter and the neighbor explained that it would be another time, as it was getting cold and would soon be dark. "Then I don't have much time," was heard and the children went back across the street, and into the house. The next sound heard from the neighbor's mailbox across the street by our daughter and their neighbor, were our grandchildren's squeals of delight from the backyard while riding "Speedy." A brief break was taken to poke a head out the front door to exclaim the coaster ride "was awesome!", then back to Speedy. Extreme Coaster is well-designed and constructed, and easy for children to use independently. It is an excellent toy for keeping children engaged in hours of excitement and fun physical activity. Our grandchildren love it.

I purchased the roller coaster for my son's third birthday - a month and a half early :-) Friend's of ours have the smaller version, and I thought we would use this more. My son absolutely loves it! He can get the car to the top by himself, and push off with no problems. He even sits at the top without the car and pretends to be a lifeguard! (we live near the beach) - This was totally worth the extra money to buy the bigger coaster - we'll use it for a while! ps - after seeing this one, our friends wish they had bought the extreme coaster, not the litle one! The only con is that you have to use a power screw driver and socket set which I had to wait for my husband to come home from work to use.
