This car seat is horrible for rear facing. I had 5 local firemen try to help install it but no matter what it is top heavy and your child will be slung around!! All the firemen couldn't believe this was approved for rear facing. I had to call corporate and complain. For front facing this may be acceptable. But it is so tall that even when installed according to all directions the top tips wildly on turns.

I love this car seat and I am one of those ppl who buy until I found the one I love the best! I also have had six children so I have been through my fair share of car seats. I love that the cup holders twist out in this one too. My daughter currently has the Minnie Mouse one and I had the Mickey Mouse one but the fabric was damaged and I tried to get a replacement but I already threw out the fabric and figured I could just buy it but I was wrong they wanted pics. So needless to say I threw out everything and bought this seat that’s similar in design bc I love it so much and it’s $100 less than the Mickey one I bought. As soon as my babies can hold themselves up in a seated position and are heavier to carry in the infant car seat, (between 6-9 months) I put them into a seat like this (rear facing of course until old enough) and I just bring a cart cover and use shopping buggy’s instead of carrying the infant seat around. Definitely a great buy for the design, the price, and the overall safety of it. I love it! It’s so easy to take the fabric off and clean it which is a huge plus especially if a baby bottle leaks or a diaper leaks etc it’s an easy clean and easy to reattach the fabric. Definitely buy again if need be. As far as customer service with the seat manufacturer it’s a 3* but the seat and Sam's price definitely 5 stars

I bought this because of the display at the store, when I opened it and started fussing with all the settings, I realized that its not the same product. It's competely different and the straps are different as well. Please be careful when ordering online and even in person, it's two different designs.

Over all car seat is good just the straps are too smooth I have a hard time tightening them. So for now that it is rear facing I can pull the seat belt straps from the back to tighten once baby is buckled in other that it’s a good option.

Use this as a spare unit in my truck- no issues when compared to our more expensive graco unit. Only thing I would change is how the anchor points tighten… it’s a little hard to get a perfect fit.

For us having to have the front passenger seat moved against the car seat for placement is not the greatest safety feature. Other brands suggest it, but this one requires it or car seat moves too much.

My baby hated car rides until we put him in this comfy, cushiony car seat. The tilt adjust means he can sit up like a big boy or lean back for sleepy nighttime travel

These are great car seats for the price. It's a little difficult to thread the seatbelt through the unit. We have twins granddaughters bought two. With two in the SUV there is still a little room between them. Good carseat for grandparents.

I couldn't figure out how to tighten the clips that clip into the back of the seat. My engineer son in law couldn't figure it out either. The seat itself is good but it's complicated trying to figure it out

Overall a good car seat, once its installed. BUT, it it very difficult to get the belt through the correct openings. Unless you have tiny hands or the baby can do it! I got several cuts trying to fish the belt through the infant spot.
