Instructions are not as clear as they could be, and you need 2-3 people to install it. Maybe a really big steong man could install alone, but I had a lot of trouble getting it pressed down hard enough while pulling on the strap to make it secure. I'm the grandma, and my daughter had to help. It still has more wiggle than I would like. It looks like it will be better in the forward facing direction, but my granddaughter isn't big enough for that yet. With backward facing, the strap secures only the foot portion where the bulk is in the back/butt side. That wiggles.
