I have used Roomba (irobot) for years but Roborock exceed beyond Roomba and has many more features an smarter in many ways. From now on, I am only buying Roborocks becuase it has far superior technology and settings.

So far this is the best robot vacuum I've ever owned. It is very efficient with vacuuming and moping. The obstacle avoidance is also superior to previous manufacturers.

2 weeks in and this thing has been awesome! It is so refreshing to come home everyday to clean floors and occasional jam first seems like it took a few days for us to adapt to keeping things off the floor more than we used to and close doors to rooms we don't want it getting into but it starts everyday at 9am and works for about 3 hours doing its thing just change out the dirty way every 2-3 days and refill it is all the maintenance this requires. App can be a little confusing setting up not a fan of the overall layout of it but besides that worth every single penny!

Most issues prople have can easily be resolved by making sure you completely robot proof before letting him/her out. Cords? Socks? Pet grossness? Baby items? Shoelaces? He will choke on those! We love him! This is our second robot and he's the best!

Review by Howard's wife. We call her Alfie. Our grandson named it Alf-after the sit-com alien. What a lovely gift. It's like having a maid. We live in rural east Texas. Everyone comes through our kitchen door. I'm barefoot most of the time and hate dirty floors, Alfie cleans and mops every day. In a way she's like a cat, throws up a fur ball every now and then, when vacuuming the wool rug in the living room, but we love her! We never would have bought it for ourselves, but wish we had a robo-vac sooner.

I bought this an year ago and smart ai is the worst option which has in it.

I used this for one week before returning to the store. Horrible! It left piles of hair all over my hardwood floors and rugs. It was constantly getting clogged up and wouldn't empty. I've had a much cheaper version of a Shark robot vaccum for the past 3 yrs that does so much better than this one. I had heard such good things about the Roborock vacuums and couldn't wait to own one. Then, I couldn't wait to return it. I've got my old cheap Shark one plugged in and running again. It doesn't mop like this one, but at least I don't have to pick up hairballs all over the floor!

I recently upgraded one of my iRobots to a QV 35A and was surprised how quiet the robot was and how efficient and thorough it cleaned. I was so surprised that I bought a second unit for my second floor to replace that iRobot as well. Very happy with both purchases and never going back to iRobot.

Very annoying, vacuum and very time-consuming this vacuum must spend more time vacuuming the areas in my living room, then vacuuming the entire living room. For instance, I have it vacuuming. It starts outlining in the living room, but then it goes immediately starts vacuuming the area rugs. It's been most of its time there, then it will go back and vacuum the hard floor, even though that that setting is not turned on to vacuum the rugs first, it still will I've tried everything deleting the carpet hard reset cache clear this vacuum just seems to do what it wants to do

This is an older generation robot, but it still performs good enough for the price. If you set your expectation as '80% as good as a human could have been' you'll be satisfied 99% of the time. Dont use "vac and mop", use Vac THEN mop. Clean often (dont delay and let dirt accumulate/stick to surfaces). Routing/traversal: Builds very good maps (gets confused with mirrors/shiny surfaces though), quite precise in traversing to/within zones (better than 10R), smaller in size than more advanced robots so can get in more places without the need to move chairs/coffee tables/etc. Doesnt have the high lift capability so can get stuck on furniture legs that lay flat on the ground or high-pile carpets. Vacuuming: 10k suction is not very powerful, so expect to run Turbo/Max most of the time (eats battery charge quick). 1X Vacuuming goes a bit too wide and misses some narrow spots, so expect to use 2X and "normal" routing even for quick cleanups. Doesnt do well with clumps of pet hair on a carpet - rolls them into 'hair sausages' and leaves them on the carpet. Mopping: the regular mode is good for spills pick up, 'deep clean' does much much better job and doesnt take that much more time (dont get scared by the warning); this model does not have a cleaning solution dispenser, just the water, so if there's something stuck might need pre-treatment or 2X Deep clean. Does not get all the corners mopped but the little rotating brush gets most of the stuff (other than something stuck to the floor).
