I’m very pleased with this unit. It even has child safety features. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality microwave.

the new frigidaire emw1120 will not power on when plugged in. the clock light won't light up. The microwave is broken!

Makes too much noise

I have been using this microwave for several weeks now and I have had no problems with it. For both short food warm-ups and long time food cooking it has performed well. The only disappoint I had was with the delivery that took longer than promised but I understood that it was the holiday season, everything was backed up. I would definitely recommend this purchase.

This microwave oven is the opposite of convenient. The door latch button function is very finicky. The door will not open unless you clear all functions. The lack of responsiveness on the touchpad makes it difficult to clear the functions. Once the functions are clear, the push button that opens the door mechanically requires a lot of force, at an exact pressure location. For a 1100 W microwave the performance is marginal at best . In 40 years this is the most inconvenient Very disappointed! countertop microwave I’ve ever owned.

This microwave has far exceeded my expectations. It defrosts and cooks things perfectly. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller sized microwave that looks nice if you have either black or stainless appliances .

I have had a countertop Fridgedaire microwave for several years. It has many convenient features. From melting butter, warming soup, reheating cup of coffee, and preparing microwave bacon for a perfectly baked potatoe. The settings used will signal completion of perfectly cooked food. Thanks, B. This microwave worked a total of 3 times before the door would not open by pressing its release. Then it started operating on its own without any countdown. By the time I got the door open because I’m not leaving my food or my glass cookware inside I had to pry it with a screw driver. Only to see the microwave was no longer even working as a cooking function. You see no activity while looking inside the door latch receiver when pressing button. This is the poorest quality item I’ve ever purchased in my life and I’m undoubtedly returning it. I will go to an appliance store from now on. Oh and also it is the loudest, most vibrational microwave I’ve ever seen. My gf asked if we could keep it just so she could sit on it when she was bored.
