Great sturdy shelves that are easy to assemble by yourself. A rubber mallet is important to use to tap the corners onto the latches in order to 'snap' them into place. Sam's had the best price around! We have 4 so far. On a side note, it was easier for us to add the rubber footings BEFORE starting to put it together.

Each individual piece of metal: beams, bars, brakets are flimsy during assembly. The columns/pillars are solid and have no give during the set up. Once the whole thing is put together the flimsyness subsides and it seems to be very solid and hold weight. Upon taking the parts out of the box don't be saddened as I was that it felt cheap, I think the flimsy lightweight parts are smart design to keep weight down where weight isn't needed.

The new modifications (upgrades) moved this storage rack from a good item to an excellent storage unit. Specifically, the deeper depth of the shelves and the redesign of the connecting mechanism (of top & bottom halves) is so much better, more solid and quicker to assemble. I've already bought three and plan to buy two more for my climate control storage unit.

Overall a good quality product. You will have to place one shelf at the connection point between the beam sections, in the middle. I have similar shelves and they came with a clip to secure the two beam sections together so you don't have to place a shelf in the middle and place the shelves were you would like.

This is the third and fourth shelf I bought. I bought the plastic ones that Sam's sold because they were out of these, and they lasted 6 months and collapsed on itself. It doesn't feel sturdy until it is loaded down and because it is so deep you could leave it away from the wall and access it from both sides which is what I did.

Just bought 4 sets of these shelves for my job because they resembled ones I had used before. But these are way better and cheaper! Put three sets together in hour or so in slacks and a dress shirt. Only tool was a rubber mallet. Well designed. Go together easy. Incredibly sturdy. Facilities team complemented them!

It was ok to put together. I definitely recommend a rubber mallet, and you may need a new one after too. Mine got a little chopped up but I couldn't get the pieces completely together without it. Holds a lot of weight. I even stood on the bottom shelves to try to get them together. We will see how they hold up over time. I've only had it a couple weeks. I have mine set up as two units, 3 shelves and 2. Kind of is like extra counter space since my kitchen is so small. Would've earned 5 stars if the pieces had got together better but my husband and I just struggled too much to get them to fit right. That being said, I would still buy it again if this one broke or if I needed another one.

This is my favorite shelf. It was easy to put together (took two of us, but we’re in our 60’s and 70’s). It holds a ton and I love that the shelves are adjustable. It’s a great shelf for the price. It’s sturdy and even more stable if you put the heavier stuff on the bottom.

I'm a home organizer and I have used these shelves with many organizing projects. Overall great product for garages or storage unites. Size is perfect for larger bins. Shelves are sturdy and the flexibility of the shelf height makes it easy to use. The solid shelf keeps loose items from falling thru.

Excellent storage solution for the garage. My wife and I purchased a total of four. Two for each side of the garage. The construction feels mostly sturdy. I don't particularly care for the way the vetical beams are divided in half. Be prepared to use one of the shelves as the main connection point between the upper and lower halves.
