The shelf was easy to set up however once the rack was halfway up I discovered that all but two shelves were cracked. This shelf is too heavy and too inconvenient to attempt to take apart and return to Sams. I am very disappointed and it is very doubtful that I will order online again.

This shelving unit is reasonably priced, sturdy, with solid shelves, and easy to assemble with 2 people. With the 1st one we bought, we assembled the 5 shelves in the upright position. This recent one we assembled in the side-by-side configuration to have two shelving units 36”x24”x48”, which works well in our space.

I just purchased my seventh of these over the past 2 years. For the price it has done a wonderful job for what I need. It looks nice and has helped me store my food and product storage and out door equipment. What I will say is that installation can be a nightmare with these. You can hammer one tab/pin in (or whatever you call it) and the opposite side often comes undone. The top pins to these easily can get bent up. If bent they become extremely difficult to work with.

These shelves are awesome. They were very easy to assemble. I bought 2 of them. I assembled the first set with the help of my 10 year old. The second set was assembled by my 10 year old and his 7 year old brother. I sat back and supervised. That’s how easy they are to assemble. The shelves are wider from front to back which gives more room for storage. Comparable shelves from Home Deport are shorter in this aspect. These shelves were cheaper than comparable shelves from HD. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

I bought 2 of these online and due to the weight ( 90ish lbs) the packages were beat up when they arrived and several of the shelves were broken, I had no problem whatsoever taking them back to the store. I bought them due to the fact that I purchased 2 of these shelves 4 years ago and they are great, heavy duty shelves. I purchased the first shelves at the store so they did not get damaged in shipping. If you are in need of some not too expensive heavy duty shelves buy this, I highly recommend picking it up and not having it shipped.

Almost bought another set of shelves with a more well known name, but glad I gave these a try. All metal and super strong. Check out the load capacity on these Member's Mark shelves and compare with everything else. Simple instructions and easy to assemble. I ended up buying two!

Bought 2 of these shelves and placed them in garage for various storing needs. Very sturdy once built. Assembly wasn't as difficult as some reviews have stated. They can be a bit wobbly when putting first couple of levels together. To solve this issue i assembled bottom half sides first, using the short brackets to make a closed frame, connecting them at the very top.Then added long shelf brackets to piece it together and stand it up. I was able to do it by myself in 1/2 hr. You'll need a rubber mallet to tap brackets in and "lock" them in place. Hope this helps! :)

The frame and shelf supports for this rack are pretty good. I expected something a little more sturdy to support the advertised 4000 pounds than what I received. The shelf boards are supposed to support 800 pounds each however 3 of the boards did not even survive the shipping process. This appears to be 3/8 inch press board covered in something like vinyl. I think it will hold up for what I need and if the boards break I will just replace with 1/2 inch plywood.

We bought these 4 weeks ago and they are great. The solid shelf is sturdy and easy to put together. Lots of organizing room. Only complaint is when they were delivered the boxes where trashed. We had missing pieces in some and extra pieces in others.

We bought 4 of the Storage Racks. For the most part they went together easily. The interlocking pieces appear to create what will be a sturdy stand. The reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating is because of small quality issues. The particle board shelving from one of the packages had damage to the corners of four of the shelves - but not enough damage to return the package. One of the side pieces that lock into the corner pieces was bent and had to be “adjusted”. Again, not enough to return the package. Living on a ranch gives a person enough knowledge to “adjust” almost anything with a big enough hammer and/or channel lock. I am satisfied in the overall quality for the price and when we fill up the 4 racks we purchased we will probably get a couple more.
