The description says each shelf can hold up to 800 lbs but the shelves themselves don't secure into place. I put this shelf together 2 weeks ago and already have issues with the bottom shelf beam bending outward, allowing the shelf itself to slip off the beam, nearly breaking from the weight of 4 cases of beer.

This was the perfect solution to our storage needs. It was easy to assemble and possible for one person to put together although easier with two. The biggest issue was wrestling the box from the car into the house. It worked so well we purchased 4 units in total.

Nice sturdy shelf. Wasn’t difficult to put together, but it was helpful to have 2 people at first..just to stabilize the frame part of it. Warning…the box arrived completely beat up and I was worried about the contents, but all was unharmed. It is a heavy box 90+ pounds.

Sturdy and was easy to build after I read the instructions. If you have built these types of shelved in the past, read the instructions first. These have a bracket that joins the two levels. The bracket makes building with one person super simple. The shelving boards are acceptable, but will not hold up to a lot of weight. If I ever need them to be sturdier, I can always put 1/2 plywood in their place. The rack itself should last a lifetime and are a great deal.

While doubtful of the shelf weight claims these shelves are great for the $$$. Easy to put together- look good & lots of storage. First delivery was damaged & the return was no hassles whatever. Recommend but be aware the shelves are, in my opinion, mid weight. Spend more if you plan on storing heavy items.

We put this in our new pool house. It holds items that we use with the pool. Very sturdy shelves! The shelves are solid so nothing drops through them. Took us maybe 10 minutes to put together. The shelves are adjustable! Custom shelves that are very strong. Highly recommend.

Outstanding! Carries a LOT of weight and is secure once assembled. Simple, but requires a bit of precision during assembly. Much better than 5-tier plastic shelving and no dipped shelves frome weight. Only $20 more than the heavy plastic shelving and FAR better in the long run. We have already purchased 12 of these to replace other lesser shelving units!

This is a very sturdy shelf unit that gives you a lot of options. I have now bought three of these packs, and have made six 4-foot units with them. They definitely live up to their weight ratings and I'm using two of them for storing canned goods, and those shelves are quite full. When assembling them, make sure that you read the directions and use a rubber mallet to firmly seat the shelf rails.

I bought one set and like it so much I immediately bought another. Assembly-- These are very easy to assemble; I was able to do it almost completely by myself. I did have to have my husband help lug the VERY heavy box down to the basement where we are using them, and I needed one of my kids to hold the uprights steady while I attached the first cross pieces on the bottom. After that, it was smooth sailing. Quality-- These are very sturdy and solid. You do need to be careful during assembly that you seat the cross pieces very firmly. If you do that, you're good. Usefulness-- These are HUGE. They're very helpful in allowing me to get control of the giant mess of toys in our basement play area. We do have occasional leaks down there, and these keep potentially water vulnerable items up off the carpet. Value-- I couldn't find anything else of remotely similar quality for the price anywhere else.

Excited to get this to finish getting organized and for a great price. Rack it self it fine (not the best) but the shelves are wood and were already cracked when received. And with no support in middle of rack I will have to watch what and how much I put on them.
