I have many boltless shelving systems in my garage and this one is by far the easiest to assemble. It is very sturdy and actually has some eye appeal. I wish I had bought these for the other 10 that I already have. And, these are about $20.00 per unit cheaper.

I've purchased other similar shelves to this. However, this unit was the best I've ever bought for these simple reasons: * simple for 1 person to put together. I love the fact that it has joiner pieces to connect the top and bottom instead of just splitting a shelf to do it. * hole covers not only make it nicer looking, but makes it feel much sturdier. * plastic top and bottom pieces to make it not have metal on your floor. Happy I bought 2 (for my garage), I'll be buying 2 more (for my basement), and as long as these are made to this quality, I'll always look to buy this unit for my large shelving needs.

These are engineered to minimal standards. Every single part - the wood shelf, the rails - are so flimsy, they are hard to assemble. Once I got them together, I was amazed the parts all push angainst each other, and it stays up. So I would say, if you are mechanically inclined, have help assembling them, and don’t want to put too much weight on them, you can put together a shelf in 15 minutes that will hold a couple hundred pounds. I also think it will collapse in a moderate earthquake. (I’m in SoCal.) The long-side support rails can flex out causing the shelves to slip down between the rails, and then the whole structure gets weakened. All of the metal pieces can bend if you drop them, tap them together with a rubber mallet per the instructions say, or simply push them together with your hands really hard. I had to straighten the metal rails and bosses with needle nose pliers place so the rails would assemble properly. I got five units, and opened them after the return window. Otherwise I would have returned them. I had to reinforced every shelf with a wooden cross beam in the middle. The extra work was not worth it. Especially after I saw Sam’s club sells (what appears to be) the old-school beige metal racks with MDF shelves that are built like a tank. So I will get those next time.

I purchased two of these units to clean and organize my garage and they are great. They are heavy duty, study and easy to assemble. I was able to put them together without any help in less than 20 minutes. I will certainly purchase another one in the future. The delivery box is very heavy for one person, so I took it apart in the driveway. Buy it…you will not be disappointed!

I love these shelves. Yes very easy to assemble, only one corner was nicked off of one of the boards and that's amazing compared to other products I have purchased that come so damaged. Very sturdy and doesn't scratch easy. I've been sliding totes around on them and no marks or scratches. I will buy more when I get a new home with more storage space

We bought these 4 weeks ago and they are great. The solid shelf is sturdy and easy to put together. Lots of organizing room. Only complaint is when they were delivered the boxes where trashed. We had missing pieces in some and extra pieces in others.

These shelves are easy to assemble and have a great build. They are well packaged, even if getting them delivered. Price point was very good. The finish of the metal seems like it will withstand wear and the shelf panels are very strong. They come with hammer-in rubber ends for the top/bottom. Can easily make two half-height shelving units if you want.

I bought 3 of these hoping that I would be able to put them together by myself. The first took me just over an hour and by I got to the third one, I had it together in 30 minutes. Putting the rubber feet on took longer than putting the shelves together. The only complaint I have is that one of the units had been dropped in shipping and the corners of all the shelves were damaged but it is not worth sending back.

Fairly easy to assemble by yourself in about 30 minutes, although assistance from another person could come in handy and speed it up a bit. I like the shelf size of 24 inches deep x 48 inches wide. It makes it easier for storing larger items over your typical 18 inch deep shelving. Great price compared to similar shelving units sold under other brand names.

I like it. It wasn't as sturdy as I expected. The metal part of the shelves framing it's so flexible that I could bend it easily with my hand - like pulling a pc. of plywood flexible. It's now a heavy duty type of shelf, but for my purpose, it works perfectly. I have some heavy kitchen appliances and other paper products. It's great for a commercial kitchen or a garage.
