The reason I am giving this 2 stars instead of one, is because the structure itself has a good quality. But if you order online, like I did, most likely some of the wooden shelves will arrive damaged. So, you will be disappointed. Now, let us be honest. The price is very competitive, specially comparing with the plastic ones.

If disassembling it and returning it wasn't such a pain, I'd disassemble it and return. I thought I'd be getting better quality than other shelving, but I'd have been better off getting regular wire racks from walmart. I like a few things about this- it's a good size for storage boxes, it can hold a lot of weight, and it can be rearranged in different configurations. The things I don't like are more important. Its constantly wobbly-even fully assembled. Assembly is a pain in the butt and the instructions are minimal. Its impossible to assemble with only one person. The shelf top is basically just particle board, although the metal pieces seem well made.

After reading about home delivery damage, we checked online to see if our local store had them in stock, and they did. We went to the store and there were not any on display. We asked for help and they had six in stock and brought them up front for us. Great service from store 6367. The box is pretty heavy, may need two people to carry it, one person can load it in a pick up or suv. Assembly is so easy, and moving the shelves higher or lower is very easy. One can be assembled in 20 minutes. No tools needed. It locks together solid as a rock. Put a 10hp generator on a shelf without any problems. Highly recommend!

I bought 5 of these units when they were on a pre-holiday sale in 2017. I couldn't be happier! They are very sturdy, easy to assemble and durable. I need to buy another 6-8 units and these will be the only shelves that I buy based on my great experience to-date!

I have been looking for a 24" deep Unit to use for starting my seedlings. I was going to get one with welded metal shelves but the shelves seemed to flimsy and twice the price. I bought this unit and the shelves are very nice. It went together easy and I just drilled a couple of holes on the side panels to hang my lighting. With my modification this works great. When I am done using for the season I will take it back apart and store in the attic.

I shopped around before choosing these shelves for my basement storage room and I am very happy with them. They are fairly easy to assemble, fairly sturdy, and work just as I had hoped. There are some that are much more solid and heavy, but these do the job and are priced right. I will likely buy more of these.

I have bought several to organize my basement; a few for toys and games, several for seasonal items like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter decorations, bulky kitchen items that don’t fit in cabinets or pantry, food items from Sams such as cases of water, TP, paper towels, other seasonal items like blankets or clothes packed in storage bins, and books & school supplies. I love them so much I want to buy 4 more for the basement and 2 for the garage!!! I would like to order 6 Member's Mark 5-Shelf Storage Racks today but they are out of stock. Can I have a rain check for today’s price for $44.98?

Purchased 3, laminate protects from moisture, shelves constant use allowable weight is about 200lbs per shelf, plenty good for most customers. Love the 24 x 48 area, holds 4 milk crates with extra space. This price was still 50% less than competition.

I have everything to say about this unit! It’s all good. I’m using this for pantry space in a spare bedroom. It’s 80# of pure awesomeness. Zero tools required to assemble, any shelf spacing options imaginable, I loved how the rails and braces were tapped in pairs, and seemingly endless shelf space. I’m so glad I found this and recommended it to my daughter. Shortly after she received hers…they are sold out. Hope to be using this for many years to come.

Bought two of these. One was missing instructions and 4 pieces essential to sturdiness of the top and bottom connections. Packaging was not sufficient to prevent 2 bent pieces and small damages to each panel. It looks nice, but not as structurally sound as it should be. Takes 2 people to assemble, as frame won't stay together as it should without someone holding it all together. Okay if not putting on too many items, I would buy a different brand next time.
