Good product, crappy delivery service

Getting things delivered by sams is almost more trouble than it is worth. If you are thinking about upgrading to plus to get cheaper delivery dont bother - you can't get anything delivered without dividing it into multiple deliveries. All so you can pay multiple delivery fees. Apparently there is a 350 lbs limit. They don't mention it until you try to check out. Turns out (after souring the picture for a weight because sams doesn't tell you) that 4 shelves weigh in at 350.4 lbs. So two orders later with double the delivery fee and they all come on the same ONE truck. What a rip off.

Very sturdy!

I never leave reviews, but this product is worth it. We bought two of these shelves, almost 2 years ago. They were easy to put together, and they have held up beautifully! We have them stacked full of storage stuff, and a lot of it is quite heavy. These shelves haven’t bowed, or showed any signs of weakening. 5 star product for sure. I would absolutely recommend purchasing!

Decent Shelves

I bought a couple of these 3-4 years ago and they were excellent for the price. I recently bought 2 more and the quality has gone way down. When you put the old shelves next to the new ones you can clearly see where they cut corners and lowered the quality. I'm giving the new ones 3 out of 5 stars because they are still decent shelves for the price just not nearly as good as they used to be.

Sturdy & Easy to Assemble

I bought 2 of these back in January & assembled 1 of these racks during the beginning of quarantine & I'm glad I did. I'm not a handy person but I assembled this rack very easily by myself & using a rubber mallet. I've not had any problems that some of the negative reviewers had. I have found these storage racks to be very sturdy (4 pales of 42lb. cat litter, multiple 30lb bags of dog & cat food, multiple cases of water & dog canned food, pop, Gatorade, extra food items that didn't fit inside the pantry closet, etc.), space saver, and useful in the garage. I just assembled the second rack & I've already loaded it down with 5 gallon paint buckets, drywall topping, tile flooring, storage totes, tools, etc.

Not the Same as the Older Shelving Units

I bought two units today and put them together. All of the reviews are valid that state how cheaply made these are compared with the ones they used to carry. I bought five of the previous models and were able to assemble them quickly and without help. These two are flimsy. The short plastic pieces you use to joint the two uprights at each corner are laughable. I will have to reinforce the joint with a mending plate because I am afraid of the top half tipping. Also, I couldn't use the bottom holes for the shelf brackets because the corner upright would not sit on the floor; and, the brackets kept coming out of the holes. Also, the little plastic pieces to put on each end of the uprights are on the opposite end of the robust spectrum. Would I buy these again? Probably, if I grit my teeth real hard. If you have another alternative for a shelving unit with solid shelves, I would look at them first.

do not buy this trust me

This looked like it would tidy up the garage. I had wanted a plastic shelf that I had bought for the shed but they were sold out. This thing broke on me. Bent on me. I threw away a bunch of wood chips and returned the rest. This is not sturdy at all.

Junk

The shelving is easy to assemble and if you try to move it it easily disassembles. Moved the shelving from one room to an adjacent room and the whole thing fell apart down to the lower shelving. Parts were bent and the plastic joint pieces are junk also. Would not even recommend this shelving to my worst enemy.

Buy something better

It took me (a woman) about 30 minutes to put together by myself. My issue, as I was putting the shelves on I noticed 2 of the 5 shelves are broken. I called the 800# on the paperwork and had to email my receipt and photos of the damaged shelves to start a "warranty claim", but I haven't heard anything back. If I had 5 functional shelves I'd probably give this 5 stars, but im giving it 3 stars (1 star for each shelf I can use). Also, being these shelves are made from particle board, there's no way I'd say they'll hold 800 lbs each!
