I bought this set the end of February. I love it except I have a gas cooktop, and the lid handles get HOT. It says in the description that they stay cool except in the oven, but they do not. When stove top cooking, be prepared to use your oven mitt to remove the lid off of a hot pot.

I really enjoy cooking in the pots and skillets. Non stick and cleanup is a breeze. The lids however, are not a great design. I have had glass lids before and none of them have kept water or residue in the metal ring like this set. Last night I was picking up the dishes and noticed what looks like rust forming on the top portion of the metal lids, but between the metal and glass where the water collects. That is not safe. I would recommend for the nonstick cooking, but not the lids.

Worth every penny!!

I wanted to love these, but they just aren't up to par. When washing, water gets trapped between the glass and the metal that is impossible to get out. Also they scratch really easily. I don't use metal utensils on my pots so I'm not sure what has scratched them, but you can see the swirl marks in the bottom. The handles do get hot while cooking, but that was to be expected. Also they recommend you not use these with high heat. I probably wouldn't have bought them had i known that first. If you plan to use them in the dishwasher, know that it will discolor the outside. It doesn't hurt the way it cooks, but I like for them to look nice also. I did like the fact that you can drain from each of the pots rather than having to dirty up a strainer. I also like the variety of pans that you get. The largest pan is quite large. I ended up keeping them since my old pots and pans needed to be replaced, but I'm not super happy with them. I gave them 3 stars only because they cook nicely, but I think thats being a little generous.

I've dropped the smaller sauce pan lids a few times over the years always expecting the worst and they always seem to land on the outside lip gently bending it. Easily bends back using large pliers with towel covering the metal to prevent scratching the lids surface. The contoured handles are very comfortable. Lifetime warranty adds additional piece of mind. Will be the last cookware set you'll ever buy unless you have to have a new color. The granite grey's timeless, classic, and will likely look good for decades to come. My late mother had a similar set from Cuisinart, and she paid 5x the price for a 6 piece set excluding the lids in the early 80s

Bought this same set maybe 15+ years ago. Still awesome but beginning to lose some of the non-stick properties. Fully expected to be much lighter weight than my old set, since that is the way of the world(reduce quality to keep prices down). I was stunned that the new set was still plenty heavy and the non-stick is great. New lids are glass so you can see without lifting lid, and are designed to able to use to drain. You just can't get this quality in this many pieces for 129 anywhere else.

I bought this set of pots, bc I bought a set years ago and they were great. Thinking they were of the same quality, I bought a set before Christmas, they are cheap made, light weight and already scratched. Only used a few times. I’m glad I kept my old set, bc these are a waste of money.

We bought this product as our Christmas present. We were excited... so far I can say the quality is good, warms up evenly... two buts: not dishwasher recommended and man, the lids get hot too... I almost drop it when doing hard-boiled eggs. So I guess I'll be buying new mittens. Lol
