I had learned before delivery that the box spring needed to be assembled. All parts are a strong metal. The assembly was made simple because the parts were clearly marked where they joined, all nuts and bolts were also clearly marked, and the tools to assemble were included. The twin xl I purchased fit perfectly into the bed frame. Definitely a good purchase.

While the final product is very good, the assembly took quite a bit of time. The zippered wrap was almost too much for us. We struggled for over an hour to get it to fit, and not break the zipper. Seems like a little extra material in the manufacturing process might make this a much better product.

Didn't know a box spring could come in a long rectangle box. This boxy spring is made completely of metal and you have to assemble it. Assembly is not hard, it is a bit tedious. I feel the fit is a bit small for a queen, though. It's considerably smaller than my queen mattress so I'm not sure if the mattress is bigger or if the box spring is smaller. My queen mattress sticks off the edge quite a bit but it's not too bad. This is great for when you live in an apartment complex and need it packaged and shipped in something slim.

I’m guilty of not reading the whole description when I bought this box spring, when it showed up in a box I was surprised, but I decided to give it a shot and put it together. It was extremely simple. Just read the directions and it shouldn’t have any problems. Don’t let the number of parts scare you off.

I bought this item for my son that is 13 and things break easily with him because he is careless with certain things but I love this item as he hasn’t been able to break it and it seems to be so much better than wood frames and the bars going across give more support to mattress works great

I was hesitant to order this box spring, as I am terrible at assembling things. However, the directions were very easy to follow and I put it together in about 30 minutes without any help. It fit perfectly on my daughter's queen-sized bed frame. I would definitely recommend this product as a cheap alternative to a traditional box spring.

Good price. Wasn't quite as easy as other reviews in the time it takes to put together. I was clueless, but my daughter in law figured it out quickly and it took us a little over an hour to do it. It's confusing that each larger part has different numbers on each end, but you need to match that end number up with the end number on a separate piece. Also the thin bars don't meet up together in the middle, I had to lay one on the outside of each middle piece. You'll see what I mean when you get to that part.

The product arrived faster than the date given which was fantastic! It was pretty easy to assemble and because of it’s material it will out last any “normal” box spring. It is quite difficult to get the outer covering on but with a little help we did it. I’m completely satisfied.

The box spring instructions were difficult to follow initially. Once you got a hang of it, it was quite easy to put together and time consuming of course. It come with all the tools necessary to install and once assembled it is pretty light. It’s durable and I recommend if no one wants to spend a ridiculous amount of money on a box spring.

Old models box springs should be pitched and this new model put in there place. This new, assembly required design is easy to handle, light, noiseless, and provides excellent support. Combined with a gel foam mattress, it's great. Getting the best rest and my typically sore neck and back; aren't sore anymore.
