[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The package is as expected. Their are only two blades (I'm used to at least four). The strips of moisture gel are great for sensitive skin. They are so moisturizing that you can not feel the blades. I had a pretty thick beard so I had to go over it several times to get a clean shave. For someone who shaves more often this would be great. I did not know about this razor before this. I probably won't buy this because my beard is pretty thick. I would however recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from sensitive skin with ingrown hairs when I shave, and I've always struggled to find a blade that truly helped this. I kept going up in blade count thinking I need a closer, smoother shave but it only seemed to make it worse. So I dropped my blade count down to 3 and while it worked better than my 4 blade, I still occasionally suffered from razor burn and ingrown hairs. When I received the SkinGuard razor, I thought the idea of spacing out the blades was an interesting approach. WOW. What a difference that small a change makes. It was an effortless shave (like my 4 blade razor), cut the hair easy and cleanly but it didn't leave my skin irritated or with ingrown hairs. I've used it 4 times now and every time it's a great shave. I found my new razor! I will say that the end result is not as close or smooth a shave as my 4 blade razor did, but again this was not my objective. I just wanted a clean shave without red, irritated spots. I'm so glad to see the brand rethink the design as a whole vs. just adding more blades.

The sharp blades are very effective giving me the close shave i expect and is very gentle and comfortable. This razor new technology improved alot; i personally tested and the results were excellent. The quality is prety good and the blades last long for several shaves. My facial skin is very smooth and without cuts. Thats why i trust and highly recomended this inovated gillete razor.

I also noticed that my razor bumps weren't as bad as they usually are. I also like the trimmer part which helps me shape my mustache very easy. I would definately recommend this razor.

I haven't had any issues with razor burn or irritation at all. I will definitely be using this for as long as I can purchase it.

My face is very sensitive and have tried NUMEROUS different types/styles of razors and my face always felt like it was on fire. I just bought the Skinguard one and tried it. I’ve been a Gillette customer all my life. I’ve been using their products, specifically the Fusion blades, to shave my head for many years. For the last 20 years I’ve only been using an electric shaver on my face due to the irritation and razor bumps I would get from using a blade. When I saw these blades I thought I’d give it a try while I was on a long vacation thinking if it didn’t work my face would heal in time for when I return to work. Since using the blades I have not had any issues of irritation or razor bumps. I’ve read other reviews about the lack of closeness for these blades. I would say these blades cut as close as needed to not irritate the skin and cause razor bumps. They are perfect in that sense and I’m happy to start shaving with a blade against my face since my late teenage years.

With that said, the Gillette skinguard razor has become essential in my shaving. Between the skin guard and the strip at the top that makes my skin feel soft, i haven't had any issues with razor burn or bumps!
