[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor works great for a nice smooth shave. I saw a decrease in razor bumps so it does really help with sensitive skin. It was a close shave without as much irritation. The only bad part I found was the blades didn't stay sharp near as long as other Gillette products but they also aren't as expensive so it balances out.

I have been using it for about a year as I have sensitive skin, but I don't like the fact it doesn't give a close shave. It takes several "passes" to have a decent shave, so I end up with some irritation. I will try Pro Glide Shield looking for a clean shave and less "passes". If this doesn't work, I may try another brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blades have the strips to protect your skin and the blades are sharp enough to give you a close shave. They are just as easy to change as other razors and in my opinion, they seem to last longer than other blades. I have only used 2 blades since I received the razor almost 2 weeks ago and I probably could've got more shaves out of the first one but I wanted to make sure each blade is going to be as good as the other blades and they work great in protecting the skin while giving you a close shave each time. I would recommend these blades to anyone with sensitive skin.

The Gillette SkinGuard Razor has a very comfortable ergonomic handle that lets you glide the razor across your face and under the neck. This is a solid razor handle made of premium metal materials and rubber grips that will last for years. I highly recommend the Gillette SkinGuard razor handle.

This is the first razor Ives used in my life that has not caused razor bumps. As a black man that also has sensitive skin, I’m prone to razor bumps and itchy skin after using any other razor. Kudos to the designer and Gillette for fixing this problem!

Where other products might have cheap shaver heads this product will give you a close shave that you want. If this is what you want than I recommend this product for you. I didn't know there was a sample product for this razor. I might this razor again it all depends on what you look for in a razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to trying this Gillette SkinGuard razor I was using a 4-blade BIC razor and was happy with it overall. This SkinGuard razor only has 2 blades which are spaced quite a ways apart, so far that there's actually a plastic bar in between the blades which is textured such that I think it's supposed to help align the hair for the next blade to pick up. I was surprised that with only two blades it was able to cut just as well as my 4-blade BIC but with the added advantage of not getting clogged up nearly as much. I have thick hair so all multi-bladed razors tend to get clogged up fairly quickly and I'm constantly running them under the shower head and tapping them against the shelf to dislodge the hair. With this razor I barely had to do that at all, just run it under the shower a couple times and that was for doing my entire face and head. I also like that these blades use the same handle as my Gillette ProGlide razor. I didn't really care for the ProGlide blades so I've just had it sitting around not being used. These handles are nice because they're metal so feel solid, but also have rubber grips making them easy to hold. Also, the heads snap on firmly and stay there. I haven't had a head break yet, unlike some other razors where I have to throw them out before the blades dull just because the connection point broke. After two uses of shaving my face and head, the white strip along the top of the blade is almost completely worn down, so I think that part could be improved, made a bit more durable, but other than that I really like these blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the same electric razor for 4 years because I hated manual razors. I felt like they never had a close enough shave for me and left red bumps where they pulled my beard hair out. GILLETTE SKINGUARD RAZOR changed my mind. It has such a smooth feel and there's no tugging or ripping hairs out. It's been a day and there's no stubble and NO RAZOR BURN. Thankfully I got a refill cap but once that goes I'll be buying more! My new favorite.
