[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I shave every other day or so. This is enough blades for me to comfortably shave for 2 months. I would say it shaves comfortably for about 7 shaves but I could stretch that out a bit. I do have sensitive skin and these blades do work very well against sensitivity. That explains the reason I have issues after 7 uses. .

This razor would be great if it were just a regular twin blade. I'm a clean shaven (head) black male. I like for my head to be baby-butt smooth (I hate the feel of stubble) so I shave my head almost everyday. I used to use a Mach 3 (Turbo) but 3 blades caused too much irritation for everyday use so I switched to a safety razor which caused less irritation but caused shaving to be a more tedious and time-consuming task. I eventually ended up trying Dollar Shave Club and settled on the twin blade they offered. It worked great! I could shave my head faster than with a safety razor, but still get a close shave everyday w/ no irritation and razor bumps, but I hated the feeling of the cheap plastic handle so I gave this one a try. It works good, but not quite as close as the DSC. If Gillette made a modern reboot of the twin blade in the mold of the Mach 3 (Turbo) w/ a metal handle and the complimentary stand I guarantee it would be a hit!

I have used all of your blades over the years and while this one is THE MOST COMFORTABLE for my sensitive skin, the shave isn't quite as close as your other blades. Nevertheless, I cannot give up the comfort so I am continuing on with Skinguard. Please take the fragrance OUT of the Pure shave cream. Thanks.

I have used many different kinds and all of them claim to leave your face feeling wonderful when infact they don't. But Gillette SkinGuard Blades actually work and they work well. I was able to shave and have no razor burn, no ingrown hairs and my face did feel and look great!! My wife loved that she could kiss me with out getting scratched by left behind stubbles. I have found my new razor and refill blades. And when friends ask what razor I use I tell the Gillette SkinGaurd!!

Recently, my old razor literally cut facial skin while I was shaving. I was using the aloe vera plant to heal my skin. Least to say, I was rather annoyed that a razor lacerated my skin in one downward motion. I saw the Gillette SkinGuard commercial and decided that I would give it a try. Perfection!! It is the most comfortable razor that I've ever used. Thank you, Gillette, for creating a perfect masterpiece!

I have very sensitive skin and am prone to rashes and irritation. The handle is comfortable to grip and the blades glide gently across my skin. There was no burning sensation afterward and the shave was close. Definitely found my new razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I didn't use the handle much, as I prefer the powered handles, they seem to work better. That said, the handle is OK. I seems to have a decent amount of silicone grip surfaces. Though I'm not sure if the design really sets itself above any other Fusion handle. In fact, I have an older handle with even more grip surfaces on it. Bottom line - it works fine, but doesn't really stand out from most of the other Fusion handles I have.

I have seriously considered signing up for the Gillette subscription to receive replacement SkinGuard blades every few months since I've found it to be a better shave than the other razors I've used in the past.
