[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Gillette SkinGuard razor blades! I have sensitive skin and most razors leave me cut up and rashy. This one actually did what it was supposed to do! No cuts, no irritated skin! It might not give as close a shave as others right off the bat, but after a second swipe of an area, it does the trick - a small trade off for not having my neck feel like it's on fire! I definitely would continue using this razor in place of my old Gillette PowerGlide. Definitely an upgrade!

I bought this 2 months ago during a military exercise I started having break outs on my face using the DSC brand so I had to get something else. I bought this blade and I have never had a razor shave with the ease of this one. No pulls no nicks and it even shaved effortlessly and close enough for army standards. Great product

With that said, I do have sensitive skin and decided to try the new Gillette SkinGuard Razor to compare. The first thing I noticed when looking at the razor and saw that it had only 2 blades vs. the 5 blade Gillette razor that I use today. Immediately, I assumed that this shave wasn't going to be as close as usual, and I was right. Rubbing my fingers across my face I could definitely feel my coarse whiskers. Although I didn't get as close a shave as I would have liked, I must say that this razor does have amazing 'Glidability' better than any razor that I have previously used. Shaving was incredibly effortless. It's a good razor, but I won't be switching from my 5 blade Gillette.

I've grown a beard because of it, however cleaning up wit this razor has been so-far nothing but a dream. With enough lather there is no irritation (no burn!) and no in-growns. Just remember to let the blade do the work and replace often. A great product.

Soo disappointed. Unless I just had a defective one, I wouldnt take another one if it was free. Change my mind Gillette.

I have some what sensitive skin and this razor worked great for me. I plan on purchasing the refills to go with it.

Then I tried this one out and I have to say that I'm really tempted to just pay the money and move back. Shaving is a pain but not with this. So far, my first 3 shaves have my face super smooth. I shave against the grain typically. These are great blades on their own. They work well and are comfortable leaving no razor burn whatsoever. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a Smooth,effortless shave.
