[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bar has a thick creamy texture that gives me the vibes of raw cookie dough. It tastes alright but not cookie flavor for me. It is pretty small and in my opinion 12g of protein against 23g of carbs is not the best. It is plant based so it doesn’t have that bad after taste. Cane sugar in the composition? I know it’s organic and bla bla bla but not my first choice for sweetener on a “fitness” product. I am not the crazy person about sugars or anything like that but when I compare with other products I tried before this one is not my first choice. But I need to admit that not having that bad after taste is a dream. I just wish it had more protein in it. But my conclusion is that this is not a bad product just not my favorite.

Was nobody going to tell me about these sooner? As an IBS and gym girly, I struggle so hard to find protein and energy options without sugar alcohols and preferably without dairy, while of course keeping them edible tasting. This is the first flavor I have tried from trubar and trust me I will be trying all of them. The texture isn't gritty or chalky; the flavor tastes very slightly of stevia, but well, it does have stevia. 10/10, no notes, thank you trubar.

I love these bars- they taste great, and they’re the only protein bars I will eat. However the consistency needs some work. In one box the bars barely had any chocolate chips which was dish, whereas other boxes had better ones. The taste and texture has also varied slightly, sometimes tasting amazing and other times being a bit disappointing. I will continue to buy but hope this improves.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not one who enjoys protein bars or any healthy sweets at all. Let me tell you though, these are pretty good. I revived the cookie dough flavor and although I didn’t taste cookie dough, I did taste a very chewy, chocolaty and overall good tasting protein bar. The packaging was easy to open and very eye catching. The ingredients were all healthy! Highly recommended by yours truly!

Tastes good and the bits of strawberry are a nice touch.

This was the first flavor of Trubar that I tried and I became hooked! So yummy!

These bars are delicious! I love TRUBAR - I am happy SAMS has them so reasonable.

I have tried SEVERAL different brands of protein bars, like MRE, but this is by far THE BEST! I like it when it is somewhat warm because then it is soft. It is gritty, but it is a protein bar, so there's that. but the taste is good.

I have tried pretty much all the protein bars available that contain no dairy. These are the only ones I actually enjoy. Perfect texture and taste. This is my third time purchasing from this brand.
