retains high quality picture. Updated normally

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, graphics have always been great. But pretty much everything else has been a rapid decline. There was a recent update that helped it alot though, so that's a good thing. Still turns off randomly (not due to updates) though. But im a Samsung only kind of man, so I'll deal with it until I can get my AU8000 repaired that was under warranty but they refused to do the simple fix.

Unplug the TV from the wall outlet or surge protector for at least 30 seconds. 2. Inspect the power cord for any visible damage. If damaged, the cord may need to be replaced. 3. Plug the TV directly into a wall outlet, bypassing any power strip or surge protector for now. 4. If the TV remains on long enough, try updating the TV’s software: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now. Note: If your TV powers off during the update, it could result in damage, so only proceed if the TV is stable. Next, check the TV’s Power and Energy Saving settings to ensure no timers or auto-off features are enabled: • Sleep Timer: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Sleep Timer • Auto Power Off and Off Timer: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving > Auto Power Off/Off Timer Also, if you have devices connected via HDMI, check if Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled, as this can allow external devices to control the TV and may cause it to turn off: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = Off If your TV continues to power off unexpectedly, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun. Great features!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Only problem is with the remote. It doesn't work sometimes. Especially the Pause button. When I try to pause a show for a break, does not work. I finally just turn off the TV .Shouldn't be that way.

The one and only, Samsung 👍❤️

Everyone in my family uses has a Samsung TV and a smart phone, except my wife, she is stubborn and thinks Apple iPhone is cooler 😑 But anyway, I can't imagine buying anything else than Samsung, especially TV or a mobile phone, smart watches, locator tags, to washing machine. I just love it. Since the beginning of 2000's till today the choice is always clear. I never trade in my older phones, I keep them, have huge collection. What Samsung does in the world of innovations, no other company can. Not even close! 🖥📱💻📷📹🥇🏆❤️

Always a Samsung fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this TV. I've always been a huge Samsung fan and this TV is no exception. The picture is super sharp, the colors look great, and movies and shows look amazing in 4K. Even the sound quality surprised me way more than I expected from a TV speaker. Everything just feels smooth and easy to use. Honestly have zero complaints so far, definitely a 5-star TV in my opinion.

Samsung 55 inch television under warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a bar running from top to bottom of the screen that is approximately 3 inches wide. I cannot view the entire screen and am trying to compensate/guess at what is missing. The television is still under warranty. How much longer will I have to deal with this? Prior to this issue, I would have said that Samsung was an excellent choice, but not now. The level of difficulty with dealing with this issue is indescribable.

Great for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits nicely in my entertainment center. At night, I have to change the brightness as adaptive brightness does not adjust that great. I might have to utilize background lighting or leave the overhead ceiling lights.

Poor warranty service!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very happy with my TV, till about 8 months of owning when the screen went out. I have been waiting for a month for any kind of warranty service. After talking to warranty reps it is going to be atleast another 2 weeks before I will have a working tv. Not sure if I will buy another Samsung TV after dealing with rude reps and such a long wait for warranty work.

Amazing features

Excellent TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great color and picture quality. It comes with a stand which makes it great when you can't hang your tv on the wall. The only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5, is that I can't connect it to Alexa or my household assistant. I believe this was remedied in later models though. The remote makes accessing streaming services beyond easy, and you can access your additional streaming subscriptions with the home button. The Samsung TV streaming that comes with the TV is prefect for cord cutters too.

Great made TV

The colors, the brightness, it's the most beautiful picture you've ever seen, maybe in the history of screens. ​Other TVs, they're a disaster, they're falling apart, but this one is a total winner. People come up to me, very smart people, and they say, 'Sir, how is the image so crisp?' and I tell them, it's because it's the best. It's huge, it's powerful, and it's making home entertainment great again."
