Pic and sound quality terrible
So this tv is brand new last November 2025. There has been a few times when turning on it does not come on picture or volume to the point where I actually have to unplug from wall and wait and then plug back in which prompts me to never buy another Samsung again. With this being said after this tv actually does go coput I will be purchasing different brand. Do you have any suggestions as you are in the tv business on what is a good brand.
Hi Ms Armon, It’s unfortunate to hear you’re having trouble powering on your U7900F TV. Please try these steps: 1. Power cord check: Ensure the TV’s power cord is securely connected at both ends and not visibly damaged. 2. Wall outlet check: Plug the TV directly into a working wall outlet (not a surge protector or power strip) and look for the red standby light near the bottom edge of the TV. o Solid red light: Press the power button on the TV (underneath the Samsung logo) or use the remote. o No light: The TV isn’t getting power. o Blinking light: The TV may require service. 3. Test the remote: If the standby light is on but the TV won’t power on with the remote, try using the power button on the TV itself. 4. If the TV turns on but there’s no picture, try pressing the Home button. If the menu appears, check for correct source selection or potential external device issues. If the issue continues, please reach out so we can help with further diagnostics or service. Great features, good quality, and great experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the TV it has great picture, detail, sound is a little low when it's up high, and the apps are easy to use and easy to setup. But the only issue I have with it is connecting to Wi-Fi and streaming!!! Other than that I'm super happy with my purchase and experience.
Great TV with a Couple of Remote Limitations
I’ve been very happy with my 65" Crystal UHD U7900F 4K Smart TV (2025) overall. The picture quality is excellent, the screen size is perfect for a great home-theater experience, and I really like the variety of smart features that come with the TV. There’s a lot to love about this television, and it has been a great addition to my home. The 4K picture quality is one of my favorite things about the TV. Images are sharp, clear, and detailed, and the large 65-inch screen makes movies, shows, and other content much more enjoyable to watch. The colors and overall picture quality are impressive, especially considering the price point. I also really like the smart TV features. Having access to streaming apps and other smart functions built directly into the TV makes it very convenient. The TV is easy to use, and I appreciate being able to switch between different types of entertainment without needing multiple devices or complicated setups. The one feature I was disappointed with is the remote control. I was surprised that the remote does not have a dedicated “speak to Alexa” button. I like using voice commands with Alexa, and having a microphone/voice button directly on the remote would make the experience much more convenient. It would be nice to be able to simply press a button and speak to Alexa instead of having to use another method to access voice functionality. I also had an issue when trying to set up my DVD player. I was not able to add the DVD player so that it could be controlled using the TV's remote. Being able to control the DVD player directly from the TV remote would have made the setup much cleaner and more convenient, especially since I prefer having as few remotes as possible. Despite those two frustrations, I still love the TV overall. The picture quality, screen size, smart features, and overall viewing experience are excellent. The remote-control limitations are worth mentioning, but they don't take away from how much I enjoy using the television. Overall, I would definitely recommend this TV. If Samsung improves the remote by adding a dedicated Alexa voice button and makes it easier to connect and control devices such as DVD players with the TV remote, it would be an even better product. For me, the TV itself is fantastic—the remote functionality is really the only area where I feel it could be improved.
Amazing tv for a great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an awesome tv that gets the job done and is very accessible. The screen is very high quality but if your more interested in the in picking out flaws than the movie then you will find it’s not perfect pixel quality. If your into the movie however these minor flaws that you have to pay hundreds more to get rid of are not noticeable.
Not a Big Fan
I’m not a big fan of it. It replaced my old Tv that I had for almost 24 years. The picture is not as crisp as the old one. Also while watching it, I’ve had the screen just go black twice. I had to shut it off and turn it back on. I have DirectTv, and with my old tv, when I turned it on, I would be on DirectTv. With the Samsung, I have to use the remote to get to it. I don’t like that.

Disapointed
It was an affordable model. Average in Clarity and smoothness. Good on all other aspects. Failed quickly. After going through a long process of obtaining service, I accidently broke the screen. Now I have no TV and just gave it to the Samsung Repair Guy to throw out. Model UN55U7900FD MODEL CODE UN55U7900FDXZA SERIAL NUMBER 0K5U3CUY602775L

Great features no matter the size or placement.
Our newest Samsung TV sits in our guest room and is always a nice addition when our guests come to visit. The vibrant colors, contrast, and brightness are always mentioned when someone visits. Personally I love the upscaling and responsiveness of the UI compared to many other model televisions out there today. More and more as I get older Samsung products seem to feel more and more like Home. Thanks Samsung great job!
Great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture is just ok. I didn't do my homework on the TV and bought for the price. Great tv just not as good as my others. But it was the lower end model. I would still recommend if your on a budget and want a large 75in tv

Slim design and great picture quality
We hadn't updated our old TV in 8 years the color red went out and everything was blue and we still used it for the longest time. When we upgraded to this TV we realised we didn't know what we've been missing out on. Id definitely recommend not only is the picture quality great but it looks great in the room.
