When you first open the pillow, CHARLES, there can be a "Fresh Foam" smell. We'd like to assure you that this scent is completely harmless and should naturally dissipate over the course of the first few days.

Excellent Pillow

There's a lot of personal preference when it comes to pillows but I love this one. I've tried so many types of pillows, including expensive ergonomic ones. This one has been my favorite. Usually a memory foam takes me a long time to get used to (needing to ease into it with a pillow you're used to) but this one I slept on from night one and and two weeks later, bought a second. You also can't beat the price! I let it air out of the packaging for a day just in case as I'm very sensitive to smells but I didn't notice anything. Seems to be very good quality.

Great comfort But...

This gel pillow has been comfortable, BUT, it has a strong chemical odor that is not like my past gel pillow. It also has a minimal cooling gel effect, also not like my last gel pillow. I will be returning it, in search of a replacement like my last gel pillow.
